Default SUPER Early Look at 2014 Since I'm Bored

Everyone knows about Clowney, and everyone knows about Teddy Bridgewater. But i wanted to take a look at some more realistic targets for us, and to look at some other guys...

Here are my favorite guys for next year:

Antonio Richardson LT, Tennessee
Dude is massive but a GREAT athlete, and really good feet for how big he is. He kicked a very good LT Dallas Thomas inside to OG, and was rarely ever beaten in pass pro last year. He's among my early favorites (right now from what i've seen i'd take him over Kouandijo, Lewan and Matthews. Lewan has always seemed overrated to me, he's got solid feet, but a complete waist bender and stiff in pass pro. I've never seen the power in Matthews game to make him an elite LT prospect like Richardson is, and Kouandijo is just ok in pass pro, he's got a good ceiling, but IMO, Richardson is more athletic and just as powerful.

Anthony Barr OLB, UCLA
Barr's a super athletic LB type that can either play 3-4 OLB or the attacking, Von Miller like 4-3 OLB role. He played FB/RB/TE/H Back 2 years ago for UCLA (my friend coaches OLBs at Oregon, and was ammazed they didn't get him the ball...like ever), but moved to OLB last year, and showed he can rush the passer. He's definitely raw with hand usage and he definitely needs to add weight, but the guy has something to work with, another in the line of super athletic pass rusher that could turn out to be something.

Louis Nix III NT, Notre Dame
This guy is just a monster, the the same sort of BJ Raji, Vince Wilfork type athlete, that is big and THICK, can hog blocks, and can penetrated and make plays. He's one of those rare NT's that i think can make a huge impact in the pro game right away due to his great strength and athleticism. Already plays in a pro like 3-4 D at ND, which will really help him. He was one of the few players that wasn't dominated by that Bama OL.

Terrance Mitchell CB, Oregon
See now i have to throw some of my Oregon boys in here, especially now that i'm working with the team and know the guys...lol. But Mitchell was nearly avoided completely. Ifo is the player that is getting most of the hype because last year he was targeted so much, and was really good. But Mitchell was dominant in coverage last year, and should keep that up this year. He's also a really cool dude, goofy as hell, but he's chill....lol

Last guy i want to mention...

Ronald Powell OLB/DE, Florida
Guy is a monster athlete and a really good pass rusher when he's healthy. He tore his ACL in spring last year, so he was out all of this past year, but he'll be a Jr. this year and draft eligible, and i think he could be a real breakout player if he is full go and healthy. Was the #1 recruit in his class, and shows that athleticism on the field when he's healthy.

There's plenty more names out there, but these are guys who's names i really wanted to spotlight.

nfl.com put a list together a few days ago. James Hurst and Zack Martin may be LTs we can hope to grab.

My guess is that our three biggest needs next offseason will be LT, C, and WOLB. So I am going to keep my eyes on the follow:

Bryan Stork, C, Fl. State
Tyler Larsen, C, Utah State
Travis Swanson, C, Arkansas
Russell Bodine, C, UNC

Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee
Cyrus Kouandijo, OT, Alabama
David Yankey, OT, Stanford
Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
Jake Matthews, OT, TAMU
Seantrel Henderson, OT, Miami

Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA
Ronald Powell, OLB, Florida
Jackson Jeffcoat, OLB, Texas
Adrian Hubbard, OLB, Alabama
Kyle Van Noy, OLB, BYU
Scott Crichton, OLB, Or. State
Morgan Breslin, OLB, USC

Louis Nix III also wouldn't go amiss if Cam doesn't work out.

Great list of guys, I would add Strong Safety, Offensive Guard and Cornerback to potential needs but we'll see how the Williams, Gilchrist and Wright competition unfolds at CB.

Before this draft, I would've said WR is going to be one of our biggest needs, but Keenan Allen baby!!!

Don't forget Guard. I like Gabe Jackson a lot. Was disappointed when he decided to go back to school.

OT- Zack Martin, Morgan Moses, Jack Mewhort
OG- Gabe Jackson, Cyril Richardson, Anthony Steen, Spencer Long

The frontrunner for me at C, is Tyler Larsen. But that is subject to change. Next season I am going to focus on the G and C class a lot.

Pass Rusher- Will Sutton, Chaz Sutton
DB- Deion Belue, Justin Gilbert, and of course Duffman's boys.

Not a huge fan of Deion Belue, maybe I need to see more, but he just never impressed me.

Huge fan of the Florida CBs: Marcus Roberson and Loucheiz Purifoy.

OT class is insane (not including Yankey who is going to play LG I believe):
Taylor Lewan
Cyrus Kouandijo
Tiny Richardson
Jake Matthews
James Hurst
Zach Martin
Jack Mewhort
Chaz Green
Morgan Moses
JuWuan James

Not all might come out but a lot of them are seniors and there's a tooooooooon of talent.

In no particular order our needs next year might include (based on unproven players performance): TE, RB, CB, SS, and NT

And almost certain will include: LT, OG, C, pass rusher (probably wolb)

So as you can see AJ left us sitting fat . Ill definitely be watching more college football this year based on that.

Anybody know what our cap will look like?
