Thread Starting Requirements
Starting today, there are new requirements that have to be met in order to start threads on the forums.
You must have a post count of at least 300 posts, and been a member for a minimum of 30 days. This has changed from the 50 posts/10 days requirement.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause some of our posters, but the truth is there are far too many people who do not use existing threads. This leads to lots of merging and moving, which leads to other problems.
So again, the thread starting criteria for the forums is now a 300 post count, and a minimum membership of 30 days. During that time, please familiarize yourself with the various sub forums, learn how to use the search and private message functions, learn how to use your user control panel, and get familiar with the forums in general.
Until you reach the 300 post/30 day limit, if you feel you have an important item for a new thread please feel free to send a PM to one of the moderators and ask them to post a new thread for you.
The system only downloads your post info 3/4 times a day so it may be a couple of hours after you hit 300/30 before it allows you to start a new thread.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact any of the forum moderators. We're happy to help.
