TT/MM are fails. No way they win in 2016 or beyond. (One or both possibly fired sooner or later)

TT/MM will succeed in 2016 and beyond.

Nothing to debate. Just pick your side.

I am not giving you the undecided vote or the bacon vote.

You are either with TT/MM or you are against them.

Thank you.
Clearly my poll is worse. Chargers are 2-6.
But it's only just began.
Give the poll time and see if it can find a way to win.
It too early to judge the poll.

Although you can see it lacks talent , there is no bacon.
So I have a built-in excuse.

I can't modify the poll and put in a split option.
Since it seems people want it.
Can a mod add in dump McCoy, keep TT.

Dump 'em. Telesco is responsible for the coaching, training staff & player personnel. A lot of bad choices have been made. Ultimately TT is responsible for the Chargers situation either through choices he has made, delegated or failed to act on.
McCoy is not HC material.
Lousy job Telesco!

I would say that for this season only! If next year he has $40 million to play with and does this again then youd be right.

This team is destined for mediocrity as long as John Spanos is at the helm. He is our Al Davis, with none of the success before going off the deep end.

Bacon, of course, is the food named after the great English philosopher Sir Francis Bacon (just as Mayo is named after the actress Virginia Mayo).

Most of the problem is the result of ownership not making the investment to bring in experienced coaches and GM:

1) TT rookie GM
2) MM rookie HC
3) Pagano rookie DC
4) Reich rookie OC

Instead of paying the money to bring in proven and experienced people ownership decided to "roll the dice" and go with unknowns.

They have previously brought in a couple of proven and experienced GM's in Bobby Beathard who's teams competed in 7 SB's (the Chargers were 1) .... he has 4 SB rings. The other was John Butler (RIP) who was in the FO of the Bills when they went to 4 straight SB's, didn't win any of them, went to the playoffs 10 times during his tenure.

In recent Chargers history they went to the SB under Beathard and HC Bobby Ross, who wasn't an experienced NFL head coach coming from college, we had Marty who was an experienced NFL HC too under Butler/AJ.

I don't know if there's a 100% sure fire recipe for success, except that it usually takes both the FO doing a solid job in the draft/FA and coaching staff working together to build the team. TT/MM are both young, seem pretty sharp and detail oriented, I'd guess their both learning as things unfold, will they improve their performance as well as the teams going forward?, we'll see.

Year 1, well they have to clean up after AJ and Norv.
Year 2, well they are still filling some holes.
Year 3, well..........um..........moving rumors bother them ? (I actually don't know what the year 3 excuse is. Sorry.)

I'm not picking on you. Congrats for sticking up for them. But my serious questions are this: When does it end ? When is answers just excuses ?

I might give TT more time, but McCoy's time is over. Look at it this way: If he hadn't lost the team before, he has now.

Business as usual in the owner's suite - counting buckets of cash, win or lose.

Why not fire MM after the Bears game and HIRE Whisenhunt as Interim Head Coach to see if he can get better results with our offense than the current regime. Then we can interview and consider a wide variety of new HCs after this season is over.

It's hard to judge TT's picks because a lot of them are hurt so often. I am not familiar with a lot of their college careers but I don't recall hearing anything about these guys being injured all the time until they arrived in SD.
I want MM to take more chances. That 4th and a foot inside the faiders 20 when they ere already down 10-0 and they didn't run a play but had to call the time out when oak didn't jump offsides showed me that he is too conservative.
