I'm new to the boards..from Victoria, BC Canada originally but currently in South Korea working. I've been a Chargers fan since I would guess 89-90. I look forward to yapping here more with y'all bout the bolts and I'm super psyched about the season. We get NFL games on the AFN (American Forces Network) here on Monday mornings at like 2:30 am and we always get a crew of Canucks and Yanks out at the bar or someone's pad.

K-Town reporting in sir. AFN is weak. Someone needs to deduct a little more from my LES and get the NFL ticket. Watching the ticker sucks.

Hi!

Well I'm a rookie football player and also a rookie CHARGERS! fan from Poland :)

There's growing interest in football in Poland right now, some new amateur teams were established recently (last two years). We - Silesia Miners - started out training in april. And yes, we're still very weak, played three matches against more experienced teams, scored nothing, lost... well let's not speak of this :>

I didn't have my favourite NFL team when we started (well, no footbal on polish tv - except Superbowls on a payed channel), but when it came to choosing one - I quickly decided that Chargers suit me the best - love th name absolutely! Extremely cool jerseys also and, well, very healthy attitude towards Raiders :>

Maybe it sounds strange - to choose a team to be a fan of - but I can assure you that it's not that much worse than being born as one of them!

I am from New South Wales, Australia.

There is a somewhat small following of American Football over here but I for one love it, as do a bunch of my friends.

Hello from the Czech Republic!

I'm American from San Diego but my wife and baby are Czech. My wife is from Ostrava and speaks Polish because she's had Polish friends for years. Every year we try to visit our friends in Katowice who are in the middle of a baby boom. I can say from experience there is nothing like Polish hospitality. Guests are treated like kings. This year we visited Krakow also which was great and your famous Violicka (pardon my spelling mistake) salt mine which has to be seen to be believed.

Glad to hear you've discovered our style of football. Don't get down about the losing. Just keep on fighting and looking for good new talent (be like our AJ Smith!) and I'm sure things will turn around. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU and congratulations on picking the right pro team to support!

I'm from San Diego, but live and work here in Bangkok, Thailand. Last week was tough because none of the online broadcasters had the Chargers/ Bills game, so I had to read the game on NFL Scoreboard.

Next week might be back on NBC so I'll be able to watch it.:) At 4:00 am our time:crazy:

From East Anglia, England. In a little town northeast of London called Lakenheath. I'm just glad that the AFN (Air Force Network) is showing the games where I am currently at. Been a Chargers fan since 1982.

I'm from Leeds, England, a city 200 miles north of London. A born and bred Yorkshireman, I've been a Chargers fan since this season started, having only discovered a love for the game via Fantasy Football 3 years ago. I finally decided that I needed to follow a team and the Chargers ticked all my boxes. Great name, similar colours to my beloved Leeds Rugby League team over here in the UK and a fabulous city that me and the family will no doubt visit at some point in the coming years.

Hopefully I can bring some luck to the Bolts and we can reach Miami in February and go one step further than in 94'.

Like the headline says, if you want one, they've got them for about 50-60 quid as I remember. Just saw them two months ago.:Helmet:

By the way, my wife and I really enjoyed your city. It's a crazy but wonderful place. If only it had weather like San Diego.

Well I guess I'm the only one from Greece. Been here since 95. Also, if you have a decent internet connection Yahoo Game Pass feeds all the games to your pc live. They use the direct-tv feed so you can watch any game you want.

can we watch the charger games live on the internet?
you know Veetle TV on the internet shows some NFL games live. But often the broadcasters are cut off due to copyright infringement. NFL-Streams channel let me watch the first quarter, then stopped and invited me to pay a fee and subscribe to their thing.
NFL Pass of course is the way to get it all, but that's costly. Too much. So I watch Charger games ticker on ESPN (better viewing than NFL GameDay) as i watch the highlights on NFL.
What else can you do, living abroad ?
