Good to see Kaeding putting the ball between the sticks....
How would you grade our coverage and return teams today?

i will said B+

Coverage: D
Returns: B+

the reason I ask is that I am in New Zealand and am getting all my info online. The ST stats don't give me any indication of how well we actually covered or blocked.

Dittto... Kaeding was solid. Kick coverage was manure.

How was that power outage, ftw?

b+ are you kidding me?
Our coverages were awful. When Kaeding would kick it to the endzone, they would run it back 40 yards.

d- if it wasn't for Kaeding I would give us a f-

Welker did a nice job returning kickoffs. Parker did ok with his 1 punt retun chance. Kaeding made both FGs. Kaeding also got better distance then he was getting in preseason. So for 2/3 of special teams I would say B+

Now the kick coverage team was pretty bad. They had a few nice hits (chatman and Osgood) but overall gave up too many big plays. They got a D in my mind.

Average it out to C+ish

maybe I am being too critical, but 36 yard punts? and a 20 yard return?

25 yard average on KO returns and a 12 yard PR. Not impressed.

You are being to generous with your grades.

Coverage teams were putrid. Nate did fine and punting was not the issue. Outside of that Crosby should have been blood let two years ago. He must be on the staff to make Brian Shotty look marginally better.

Steve Crosby is this village's idiot.

Sigh Crosby needs to go equally as bad as Brian. They are both awful.
