View Full Version : Ask Tomlinson who he wants......

The star of this team is Tomlinson obviously and he hates to lose.

Forget all this future and Now crap. If someone asked Tomlinson who he wanted to start in front of him, I will bet ANYTHING he would say FLUITE right now!!

No doubt. Flutie uses Tomlinson, just liked he used Boston and nobody else did. Just like he used Moulds in Buffalo like nobody else did or does.

Flutie should start

i agree 100% flutie is the guy. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it just bugs me so much that we can't do anything about it.

oh well i'll just play madden and start flutie that seems to be a good alternative

You forget that You are not seeing what is happening in Practices..

Rivers could be generating an undertow of "talk"...

If the Rumored Reports about what Reche was saying are true then that is likely what is happening.

Still.. IMO Flutie is not a bad Choice to start. I think its the Wrong Chioce.. but not a bad one.

The defenses know Flutie does not have a power arm and they will crowd the LOS the same way they did Brees to TEE off on LT. The defense needs to respect the long ball or a power throw on an out pattern otherwise the defenses are pinning their ears back and coming. i/expressions/SDG_Bolt.gif

Well my gut feeling is you would be disappointed. I think he would say Brees, but if I am wrong, I still think you would be disappointed, I think he would say Lemons is his second choice. He did well in the preseason, knows the system like the back of his hand, is not full of himself and is not fragile.

You guys are to hooked on Flutie if you ask me. He does not cure all ills and if he is put in to start on a regular basis's, I not only think you will be disappointed in his performance, but I also think he will be out injured before he breaks his first month of starts.

It is time Flutie and his fans realize that he is 42 and it is time for him to step down from playing in the NFL and move on to coaching.

What was the rumor about Reche? What was he supposedly "saying"?

Some poster said he saw Reche at a bar in San Diego (I forgot which bar) and Reche was talking chit about Brees' game and inability to throw the ball. Something like that.....rumor talk now !! i/expressions/SDG_Bolt.gif

I think you are miss guided. I think if we ask you you would say that. LT being a professional wouldn't answer that question.

On a side note. Fluties record is no better then Brees's record over the last 4 years. So I say he's not our best chance to win

Yeah, Reche should learn to catch with his hands instead of his chest, and then he can talk.

Why do we need to ask a Player, why do we need to ask who they want.

Regardless of his Status, we still have a head Coach, and with that comes the deceision's.

Mart will put in who he deems has the right stuff, and he is the one that will have all the reprecussions of that choice.

Leave the Players out of it, with that question comes the spilting of the locker room, not a good idea.

Lt wouldn't pick Flutie, hes an old man past the twilight of his career. Flutie probably wouldnt even make it through a whole game. Lt is a class act, he just wants to win with this team, I really dont think he cares whos out there as long as they win.

A while back, Tomlinson said that he was worried about his friend Drew because they drafted Rivers. I think Tomlinson would want Brees in there.

Yeah it's obvious Brees doesn't use LT...that's why LT caught 100 passes last year and led the AFC in receptions...

And how many catches does he have this year? And how many yards? The fact is LT isnt being used in the passing game this year. Im not saying its the QBs fault, in fact it most likely is not. But the fact still remains that he is not being used.

Anyway, I think LT, like the rest of the team, just wants to win. Ill go out on a limb here and say Cleo is actually the best choice for the job atm. Correct me if im wrong, but he scrambles as well as Doug and has great arm strength to stretch the field, which is the key. I think that he could stretch the field in a way Brees and Doug cant, and provide the threat of a mobile QB. I dont believe PR is ready as yet. You cant come in after missing 30 practices as a rookie QB and be ready. You just cant. With Cleo's experience in the system, i feel he would be the best choice.

Forget Flutie, Hes 42. Only place he should start is in Oakland, since they usually dont draft anyone under the age of 40.

I hear there is a real shotage of flu vaccine accross this great nation unfortunately out there this season, but what we may need almost as bad here is a shot for a new malaise....RIVERITIS!! It infects mostly east coasters, with low post counts, but has been known to spread to others when they lose some brain cells and develop a low immune count response due to re-reading the same redundant posts and favorable college clippings of past glory days. Be careful of any post that begins with PR, Rivers, Wolfpack or NCS or ends with Brees suxks, Brees trades, etc. There is no known cure as yet, but patience has been found to alievate the symtoms to a great extent. However, that potion is in short supply here it seems (see many Rivers posts), and when available, many are too reluctant to partake of it....for shame!. Never fear, Dr. Marty and his trusty, beautiful nurse Cammy are working feverously on a new vaccine to soon be tried on some volunteer guinea pigs on the political UT boards (no loss if we fail). Stay tuned for the results before the season concludes. Until then, keep posting, drinking the Kool-Aide, and we'll keep ignoring for healths sake. p,s. Brees top 5 in NfL, not too shabby.

I had no problem with this - right now Drew is the best young QB on the field of football - I won't be surprised if "Big Ben" doesn't get a lot of votes after this thing is made a bit more "public" - but Drew has my vote out of the ones actually playing at this moment. i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif
