Look for the chargers to use their pick on Troy Williamson because of the Vikes taking Williams at 7.

I like troy williamson better. Just a hunch, but he just sounds like a good charger. williams and edwards...I dont know....too big of a name. top ten names. we dont need that "savior" in our WRs. we need the (cliche i know) "X factor" that will set us apart.

I like all 3 names, and Edwards is looking better and better every day.....but will be gone by the time we pick.

I agree that the Vikes will take a WR with their new pick, and it will be Williams or Edwards, whichever is still around.

I don't like Williams anyway, he just does not feel right. One of his major listed problems is that he is immature. I also have doubts as to if he can really do it in the NFL. I am glad that we will not be getting him, and also glad that he will most likely be in the AFC in case I am wrong about him.

Go Bolts!

Mike Williams=Keyshawn Johnson. Good hands and height, but slow. Agree or disagree?

I'd take any one of the top 3 WRs with #12 but we're probably gonna grab a DL (S. Cody) or LB (Merriman) with our first pick. We can get still get a 'good' WR with #28 pick or #61 pick (second round). The WR position is pretty deep.

Don't be surprised if the Vikings take Pac Man Jones with #7, they need a CB badly.

Totally agree unless he proves otherwise in his privat March 10 workout
Either the wolverine, ex-trojan, or gamecock will fit in quite nicely behind our leader #21

I also agree. How bout we grab Marcus Spears at 12? Too high?

Funny, I just made a post about how the bolts are more likely to get williams or edwards because of the trade. I think the Vikes are going to draft D, not O.

For the 7th pick the vikings must address their Defensive Issues.

I believe they address their defense issues only if they go after a FA WR. They have to make Daunte Happy!! I hope they go defense I would like to see williams at 12

I don't agree. Keyshawn caught alot of passes at USC, but never dominated like Mike Williams did in his short time there.

Williams ran 4.56 in his workout 40 before the draft last year when he weighed in at close to 240. Recent reports list him at somewhere around 228 and "fit." you can be sure that he's been addressing the concerns over his "lack of speed." I'll be totally shocked if he doesn't run sub 4.5

All that being said....he won't fall to us anyway and even if he did, I still want defensive help in the 1st round.

The Vikes already have a great reciever in Nate, he was being overlook because of moss and his amazing talent, both on the field and with his mouth. They will go defense, which in bad news for us. We need to get a rush on QB's. I hope AJ is working a deal with a FA WR.

The Vikes need D help
We hold the cards, we can go in any direction, and i think a Top WR of Rolle from Miami would be a good pick-up with #12

We could get Musha muhammad

I do not want Troy Williamson at # 12. If Williams and Edwards go, there will be at least one quality player that would benefit the Chargers greatly, perhaps one who goes by the name of Derrick Johnson? A solid defensive linemen, or even a offensive tackle is more of a priority than a wide out. As for Troy being taken at # 28, sounds fine to me if he is still there.

I think the Bears signing of Mushin Muhammad makes it likely the Bears will not draft a WR at number four. For those of you that are hoping the Bolts take a WR with the twelfth pick, this is probably good news. For people like me that are hoping for a stud OT and a stud DE in round one, it's bad news.

If Edwards or Williams is still there at 12, which is unlikely, we have to take him, we can't pass on someone who could become a great wide receiver and make our offence a force in the league for years. I not sold on Williamson and would not take him with the 12th or 28th picks, everything i hear about him is he's a one dimensional deep threat. We need to draft defence with our two picks if Edwards or Williams isnt there, thats the weakness for us. They're lots of free agent WR's we can get in free agency anyway.

Maybe not, last I heard Plexico Burress will go to the Vikes.

Edwards is the way to go, and if he is not around then pick up Dan Cody.

Edwards is a "clean" player, id like to see him, and whoever said williams would run sub 4.5 is dead wrong, he ran a 4.59 and 4.61. williamson lookd at the 40, there was another guy, self proclaimed fastest man in college, looks like a late round returner.

Williams wasn't going to run the 40 at Indy (like Edwards) until scouts put some pressure on him. He borrowed some shoes and ran those times. Not race horse times, but not embarrassing either.

He'll be running the 40 at his private workout in Tampa on March 10 at home on a fast track. THAT is where Williams has predicted he'd run a sub 4.5 forty. He probably won't, but my guess is that Williams will be closer to 4.5 than 4.6 in his private workout.

of course, but in terms of wat i believe is his speed more, the time he ran on turf, which is wat hes playing on, not a clay or rubber track (dunno wat they use there) running isnt rocket science.

i know he wasnt known for his speed, but come on 4.6 isnt wat id call a WR, he looks like and most likely will be, a TE.

Gut feeling that the top 4 receivers will be gone when we pick at 12.......time will tell......IMHO
