I like B.Y.O.B.(Bring Your Own Bombs)-System Of A Down.

That has been playing alot in my CD players (car, work, home) lately too.

I was trying to boycott this thread since most of you are "too cool" to post im my Music thread, but since I had already added that comment to Bobo.... :D

My favorite song (right now) is New Slang by The Shins.

Just like B.Y.O.B, it just gets stuck in your head and never leaves.

Picking my favorite of all time would be impossible, but these 3 are usually in the top 5 at any given time.

Yellow Ledbetter - Pearl Jam

St Andrew's Hall - Blind Melon

3rd Planet - Modest Mouse

Baba O'Reilly (Meet the new boss, same as the old boss is still one of the best lines of all time)
Won't get fooled again

A "B" side track of theirs I dug was:

Trick of the Light

Still, Freebird and Stairway to Heaven are probably 1 and 2.

Other than Country music, I think all music DIED about 1989 or so ....

I used to hate Baba O Reily for years.....then I realized if you play it loudly and sing along as loud as you can, by the end of the song you feel much better than you did before :D

This theory applies to "Hey Jude" by the beatles as well!

Next time you feel like tearing the throat out of someone who desperately deserves it, or you get the urge to throw your hot coffee through the open window of the guy who cut you off in traffic, give it a shot and prove me wrong.

Jude Jude Judy Judy Judee JUDAY....yaa ya ya

The original is the best, but the video from 'Still Cyco After All These Years' is also cool. Bobcat Goldthwaite is in that video. 'Still Cyco' is ST's remake of their 1st album. It came out in '93.

havent heard of Still Cyco, what do they sound like? yeah when suicidal came out that was the pinnacle of punk rock. before that it was all just punk, then bands like the beastie boy's changed from punk to rap, punk splintered into different type's...like cow punk, irish folk punk, mexican gangsta punk(suicidal tendencies) metal punk,or speed metal,Oi!,death rock(goth), etc, etc, in other word's it got really lame, I mean the bands were still good, but no more unity in the punk scene,

It's worth checking out. They're the only band I can think of that actually redid an entire album of theirs'. They also did 2 songs from 'Join The Army' on that. I wished they had done 'Suicidal Maniac', because that's also an ST classic. They redid 'War Inside My Head' & 'A Little Each Day' from 'JTA'. Those aren't bad songs, but I'd have preferred the fast songs from 'JTA'. BTW, I love The Beastie Boys' early Punk songs & I have the tape 'Same Old BS'. The 1st side is pretty bad-ass! Are you a Death-Metal fan? You like fast music, so check out Morbid Angel, Nile, Cannibal Corpse, Hate Eternal, etc.
