They are struggling against the oakland raiders. Plummer has had the deer in the headlights look all season.

thats why i have no doubt chargers can take them on this year

its not even gonna be a test... only test is whether or not denver can handle the charge when they get shocked

They do have an excellent defense, I wish Champ Bailey was playing for the Chargers. It will be interesting to see how their defense handles our offense. Unfortunately, we have to wait until Nov 19th to find out.

Soo true ... he makes picks like he's a wide receiver. Anyone outside of D'angelo Hall probably wouldnt have made that pick

they should be able to handle their defense well IMO

chargers didn't do bad at all when they played offensively against the ravens which happens to be a good defensive team overall

better than the broncos i might add... with the overall speed of that Raven team

We took the Faiders out at 27-0. IMHO the Chargers were not as good as they are now I believe they have came a long way since game opener on Monday night. As the chargers continue to grow and click together they will do another shut out. Our defense is powerful and our offense has several weapons Go Chargers

Yea, that's true. A win's a win. Still, you really feel comfortable with Plummer at QB?

Plummer gives them a better chance to win than Cutler.

I just hope we're 7-1 going in to face them.

Chiefs looked terrible, Rams look tough, Bengals look inconsistent.

I can't talk smack about any team until the week of. You guys focus too much on the Broncos. Tonight is praising our rout of SF. Tomorrow, we pick on chiefsgal!! (Sorry, homegirl):D

That offense isn't looking too good, and I don't think they match up very well against us. I don't think Plummer will be able to exploit our secondary very much and our run D is always stout. Even so, they are always tough at Denver and if we give them an inch, they could end up taking a mile. The Chargers have the advantage IMO but both games are tough division games and could go either way.

We could very well sweep denver this year. I doubt Jake will be able to bootleg on us... We can pressure him from the ends. If we keep stuffing the run and force Jake to stay in the pocket, they have no chance.

The thing I don't understand is why was Denver favored by 15 points? They have only scored over 15 points 1 time this whole entire season. It just seems odd to me, I know they were playing the Raiders and there was no way the Raiders were going to win, but 15 points is ridiculous when they haven't scored that much this season.

That's the kind of line you get when a good team players a hopelessly bad team.

I understand the Broncos are better than the Raiders, it is pretty obvious. But how can you get a +15 point spread when you haven't scored that many points except for one game. Denver doesn't score points, they stop teams from scoring.

saw this at kffl , reminded me of marty's record vs oakland -

Broncos | Shanahan continues dominance over Raiders
Mon, 16 Oct 2006 11:53:08 -0700
Steve Corkran, of the Contra Costa Times, reports Denver Broncos (http://www.kffl.com/team/15/nfl) head coach Mike Shanahan (http://www.kffl.com/player/1964/nfl) improved his coaching record to 18-5 versus the Oakland Raiders (http://www.kffl.com/team/28/nfl) since Shanahan arrived in Denver in 1995.

agree but remember 1 thing though, defense wins championships. when u have a great defense, the offense does not need 2 do much, but be smart with the rock. the broncos and chargers both have awesome defenses

By the time they play us...there's just no way that 8 men in the box is going to work against this team. This chargers team has seen enough of that already and the pass is finally back to respectability (they really didn't respect Brees that much in year's past...but I must say this is an entirely different passing attack we have in SD now.).

What an embarrassment it was to watch two former QB's from ASU (my favorite college team) struggle like that. Now that they play for two rivals of the Chargers and the two teams i hate the most, im actually glad they struggle and suck so much now....its a no win situation for me, except when the Chargers kick their butts.

Wait till Your crap team comes to Denver our defense has given up 37 points in 5 games, and we've played some crappy teams just like the chargers. We are the division champs for a reason so get a brain and talk **** about denver when you can beat us in Denver.

13 game home winning streak, haven't lost a home game since november of 2004. I think we will be fine against the Chargers in Denver. The game in San Diego I'm worried about.

that doesn't mean jack crap nowadays. the new england patriots boasted a 21 game home winning streak fresh off of their super bowl win against the eagles. that came to an end in their house against...yep.:Bolt:

don't bother cleaning, we'll be stomping mudholes in denver all night.

another thing to remember that champ bailey said: "you can't win if you don't put points on the board".
but we're good to go on both sides of the ball. just like most of the commentators have been saying during the charger games. "pick your poison".

All streaks come to an end and with the way your offense is playing right now, it will come to an end when San Diego comes to town. As posted earlier, the Patriots had a much more impressive streak going at home but look what happened to them, not only did they lose, they got spanked by us. Jake Plummer and Tatum Bell.....not a chance. Its a new era in the AFC West, get ready for the Chargers to dominate for years to come.
