NEW YORK (AP) -- The NFL moved the Dec. 3 game between the Seahawks and Broncos in Denver to Sunday night as part of its flexible scheduling for the last half of the season.
The game will begin at 8:15 p.m. EST on NBC

This means they prolly wont flex the rematch in SD in a few weeks. I dont think a team can have more than 5 primetime games in one season.

The 12/17 game here against KC looks like a strong candidate for a flex game though, especially when you look at the rest of the matchups that week:

If they flexed our game with them then that would be the 5th game.

It would be our 4th.

Although I agree it is worthy of the "primetime" spotlight, I believe this game will end up being protected by CBS.

Bolts-Chiefs game is tentative Sunday night game oin NBC schedule. Check the threads on the geenral discussion board and the link to the New York Times article. The only way it won't be on Sunday night is if NBC flexes another ganme in it's place. Working in our favor -- they don't have miuch to choose from that day and the Bolts are hot. Working against us -- games with western US teams do not do as well in the ratings as teams from the Northeast. Cragre Bronco game did a lousy number compared to other Sunday night games.

I think they only get a certain number of protections, they may be out at that point. I don't think CBS is all that concerned with protecting that particular game, although it remains to be seen, what with the Chargers being media darlings and all.

Denver getting that flex game with Seattle means they are about done I think.
