Michaels is the best!
I've been there for about 7 yrs. SoCal is right, I sit in front of the Big screen along with 8 others.
Be sure to come by and introduce your self. I'll be in Houston for the game as well as in SD for the Faider game.

Whats up guys. I'm from Henderson too. I usually hang out at Barleys with a bunch of friends, But havn't been to any Chargers bars. I'll also occasionally go to the Instant Replay behind Sunset Station, but there are a few too many raider fans to make that a constant stop. Have fun this season guys.

I live in Las Vegas and HATE it - but i do got to give props to Michael's Pub! They have one of the tightest bars around. I'm there for every game! I just hooked up Vegas Rick with a newer, better projector for the games, because that old one was crap. It should be up for Game 1 against the Texans!

I moved to Las Vegas this past summer and found this great bar off of Rainbow and Flamingo
called Michael's Pub.

I soon realized that this was the place for Charger fans in Sin City! There are plenty of tv's
and a big screen towards the front of the bar.

You gotta wear Charger gear when you go though because at half time there is a free raffle
and if youre not wearing Charger gear you can't participate. Last time we won an LT jersey
and a Charger hat!

Check this out... the guys even have a mini cannon that they fire outside after every
score!!!

Charger faithful in Las Vegas?!? Who would have known!!! Check it out!!!

I am in Las Vegas (Southwest LV, Rhodes Ranch area) during much of the off-season working. Micheal's Pub is a cool Charger Bar, although since I am in SD during the season, I am rarley there to see any of the games.

BoltPride comes out of that pub and they are a good group of peep's.

hey gang i was in las vegas this past weekend with my wife . friday night we took a drive down flamingo blvd. and rainbow finding ( michael's pub ) . soon as i walked in i was in charger heaven . the bar its self looks a bit dated but with all them charger poster , charger mirrors , pictures of past tailgate partys were all displayed with pride on the walls . i got to meet donald ( who is the brother of the bar owner ) and we also met kara who also works there . it was fun kicking it with them for the few drinks we had there and also being there with other charger fans espesially when you are the one from out of town . they sure made us feel welcomed . the first thing they noticed was me wearing my property of the chargers t-shirt as i walked in all teary eyed ( sniff ) . kara and donald told us to call up the bar to verify when they plan on coming down for one of the home games that way we could join in on there tailgate party . thanks again ( michael's pub ) for making myself and my wife feel at home . . .

hey guys i was there during the hot days of july ( 114 degrees ) , my wife and myself checked this place out . the place is wall to wall charger stuff from brew mirrors to neon fixtures . this place is the kind ( but ) donald and kara who works there at this bar told us that they have no cannon . we laughed about this as we enjoyed our jackandcokes ( 3$ ) 16oz drinks . this place is not so huge but good enough to rally with the charger family . i told them that i will be back in january after the superbowl to collect my money from the wynn casino . ( placed 50$ bet 15/1 ) for the chargers to win this years superbowl . . .

I'm from Corona, Ca. I was in Veags the weekend the Chargers played the Pats. My friend who is from Vegas met some locals on the Charger curise. They directed him to Micheal's. He told me about this place and I loved it. I'm a season ticket holder and was so happy to find a place in another city that was full of Charger fans. Everyone there were locals but they treated eveyone like family. Even better the first beer was free for wearing anything with Chargers on it. And I won a shirt in the raffle. When I'm in Veags for any away game, that's where I'll be watching the game.

Guys...Michaels Pub on IS the place to be for Chargers games while in Sin City. 99% of the people there are from San Diego and we have a blast every week. Yes there IS a cannon that gets shot off after every score...too funny. Rick is the owner and there are a few rules/customs. First it is a bar, so nobody under 21 is allowed, second WEAR your Chargers gear!!! The 1st drink is on the house to anyone in Charger's gear and everyone gets a raffle ticket for prizes during halftime and after the game that range from shirts, hats, and other memorabilia to signed plaques and even BAD ASS Charger's leather jackets (I won one!) If your not in Charger's gear...you don't win. The food is good and cheap as well as Rick feeds us at halftime with free finger foods like chili dogs to taquitos etc. Come on now...free food, a free drink, free prizes in a free raffle surrounded by what Bolt Pride called the "largest weekly gathering of Charger's fan outside of San Diego County in the WORLD" You gotta check it out...oh yeah and we HATE HATE HATE the Raider's and their fans.

Hey THANKS LVChargerFan for the info...Michaels Pub sounds like the place to be for ALL Charger fans...for me...MP will be home away from home. I'll be up in LV to celebrate the New Year (28th '05-2nd '06) and I will not miss the game against the broncs...so I'll be there wearing my GATES jersey. If I'm not there 5 minutes before the game starts...hunt me down...my wife who doesn't care about football so I may go alone. Good thing we're a big family so she'll be ok. Anyways...We'll be staying at Ceasar's Palace...anyone...how do I get to MP from CP?

Oh and another thing...If your in Big Bear, CA and you know where I can go to see the Chief game (is it the chiefs?) December 24th 10am please hook me up. We will be up there for Christmas... I'm the only Charger fan in this bunch of soccer fans (family) and I would prefer watching the game with other Charger fans in Big Bear.

Luke...the Inland Empire needs you:). Hey where you located? Been out here in Murrieta for about a year. Sportszone Pizza off California Oaks is a cool hangout. They have 5-6 bigscreen t.v. They have fans from all sorts of teams come out to grab a pizza some beer and of course take in the games. I've been there a few times but no official charger group has been formed. Has potential.

I've been going to Michael's Pub for the last 4 seasons. I found out about it through another friend who is from Riverside. Michael's Pub has a cool crowd of people who are dedicated fans, but during the past 2 seasons the place has been infected with a large number of "band-wagon" fans who have come out of the woodwork during our recent success. As a result I do find it somewhat annoying going to a crowded bar with a lot of band-wagon fans. There are a group of dedicated fans who have been going there for years, I like them. They gather at a table in front of the projection screen. As mentioned in another post; they fire a replica cannon everytime we score. Wear your Chargers gear there and get your first drink on the house and a raffle ticket for their halftime drawings. The prizes the last couple of seasons have declined in quality. It used to t-shirts, caps, Charger Girl calenders, autographed photos, etc. Now the prizes are lower-end such as Charger coasters, Charger light-switches, and those various little mini-posters that are included in the Sunday paper. But its free, so one can't expect too much. As for the TV's in Michael's Pub, they are junk and absolute crap. The TV's are small and not very clear. If you don't mind standing shoulder to shoulder with band-wagon Charger fans and watching the game on a junk TV, then check out Michael's Pub; but I would much rather watch the Chargers on my 60" HDTV.

Just thought i'd update this thread. I went to Michael's Pub and i went to Surfs City. Michael's Pub was super busy, I had to wait outside because it was at capacity (Fire Hazzard). Make sure if you go to MP's you go at least 30-45 minutes in advance, and man was it freakin packed in there, at least 140 Charger fans. Surfs City was okay. Their was about 20 Charger fans in there including my party of 4. I highly recommend the food (Mexican Grille) at Surfs City though, MmMmM it was fantastic! If you want to go to a less crowded place Surfs city is the place to be because at least you'll have a chair to sit on and you wouldn't have to wait 15 minutes to get a beer (MP's). Don't get me wrong MP's is an awesome place but it is very busy in there. Go Bolt fans in Vegas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, My parents own a home in Las Vegas. I will be staying there for a year-ish due to some problems at that house, but I will be going to school there while staying there. That means I will need a place to see the Charger games since I obviously cannot go to the Games anymore. I looked up the sports bars for Chargers and found 3 of them. Now, I'm only 18 years old. Will I even be allowed to watch the game? or will I have to be 21? If I can't can you advise me a place an 18 year old can watch the game. Sorry, never went to a bar =x

Thanks in advance! =]

Hey all...

Been living in Vegas since 2000. Went to SDSU for a couple of years back in early 90's and have been a Charger Fan ever since. Went to half the home games last year which was awesome! Got so into the team that I got a couple of decent club seats for the next three years.

I will try to get out to one of the Charger bars for some of the away games this year. Thinking about seeing one away game, possibly the Packers (can't go to New England due to some prior obligations).

Looking forward to solid year of football. We have the talent and a interesting mix of new coaching.

Lived in Vegas for 8 years - Alot of Charger fans in sin city --- Moved back to the home of "bolts". Pretty much any Sports Book area of any casino is a good spot since they have multiple screens to check up on other games. Placed a $100 bet to win the Superbowl 5 to 1 odds

I just got back from vegas. Didnt get a chance to go to Michaels pub. But I will be there again in two weekends. I might be able to go check it out. sucks the chargers are 5 to1 odds. Id rather them be 1000 to 1 and win it this year.

I know that there are TONS of Bolts fans here in Vegas, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any Charger bars in the area. My brother FINALLY turned 21 (and my new place doesn't receive Dish Network) so we'll be needing to find a place where Bolt-heads unite.

Anyone know of any bars where the Charger-fan locals go?

Yo fellas, I may just see you at Michael's Pub on Sunday too.

Just a FYI, another Charger bar that I checked out a couple times last year is Hot Rod Grille in Henderson. I guess this year ESPN 920 is going to be hosting Charger game day events there. It's not a dive and is bigger than Michael's with an upstairs/downstairs.

When I was there it was filled with Charger fans but wasn't quite as... I dunno... roudy? You know, there wasn't any of the chanting and rah-rah kinda stuff that typically goes on at Michael's. Maybe this year with ESPN sponorship and advertising Hot Rod Grill might be worth checkin out.

also.. LVBoltfan_45. I work like 2 miles from Big Dog on Sahara and I never new it was a Charger bar? crazy.

As for Hot Rods Grille, any idea where in Hendy it is? I live near Hendy... but I think I'd still rather go to Michael's if its got more Bolts spirit, y'know. Anyhow, a back up Chargers bar close to home would be nice. ;-)

Vast majority of you are over 21 years of age, but for those under 21, or bringing children (I've got a 10 year old who is quite a knowledgeable Chargers fan and potentially a future offensive lineman), Buffalo Wild Wings at Hualapai and Flamingo (way out West) is not bad. They consistently show the Chargers. Hint: show up about 1/2 hour before the game. The people who were there to see games at 10 A.M. are generally clearing out; seating much easier than if you show up just before kickoff.:helmet

Absolutely man. Excellent place to be a bolts fan. Being centered between bolt territory and niners n raiders territory. Its a huge mix. I'm pretty stoked about this. Thanks for the heads up, I love the wild atmosphere at Michaels but like you the smoke kills me as well as the lack of seating. As far as Al's goes, that place pretty much blew as far as the amount of Bolt fans go but then again it's been a few seasons since I've been. I hope that Agave is the real deal.
