If the Padres win, it will be a sign of things to come and indisputable evidence of the superiority of the the Pads.

If the Dodgers win....it's only spring training and means nothing.

Mark those words.

Mark those words.game doesn't mean a thing...no dodgers regulars are making the trip except Andruw Jones, and only a handful of Padres regulars went....none of our Regular starting Pitchers went.....but obviously I'd rather see the Padres win....go scrubs!!

Players didn't even make the trip?

i think both teams are taking minor league scrubs....maybe only a couple of players from each from the 40-man roster....

Game One ends in a 3-3 tie....proving how little it meant, i think going to China might be a good idea, but it should have taken place at the end of the year like the all star teams that go to Japan. During spring training when players are fighting for spots, and throwing them out of their routines is poor judgement IMO, another great move by Bud Selig!

Guess the smoggy air homefield advantage wasn't great enough to overwhelm the mighty, mighty Padres A, AA, and AAA guys.
