I actually really like this move. He was solid number 2 pitcher when he was pitching for the Nationals. Only problem is....surprise surprise, he was injured for a good portion of last season.

Don't know much about him, but I do know that we are in desperate need of starting pitching!!

Here's his career stats:


Looks like 2007 was pretty decent. 16 games started, 4-5 W-L, 3.42 ERA, 25 BB, 65 K in 97 innings.

Could be solid 3 or 4, if he can recover from the injury!

if he was a no. 2...then it cant hurt to try him out at no. 5 in our rotation right? what the worse that could happen? we lose 99 games? ooops already did that....dont know anything about him but the pitching this spring has been downright awful

The only two starters i can put my trust in is Jake Peavy and Chris Young.
He will for sure fit in the Padres line up.

It's sad when your rotation is in such state that a cast off from the Washington Nationals is exciting news :/
