They sure belong on the the list, but just the greatest ever not to me.
Brady and Manning are among the best in the history of football. Let's not split hairs.

Expectations, yes. Using Brady and Manning as benchmarks, no. I agree that PR has underperformed, and badly, but let's be reasonable in our expectations.

Come on man. it wasn't trickery. I admit when I saw the play last night that was what I thought at first. But once I realized the play broke down, and rivers had to roll out more it made more sense. Liike i said in my earlier post Battle probably would of made the TD. But the bolts felt PA was the better choice assuming KC was thinking run with Battle in. Rivers turned that play into garbage. Along with whoever missed their block.
A play action pass with Rivers rolling to his right is NEVER a good option. That is just about the LAST play that should have been called

Apparently Norv is either very misinformed, has a bad memory, or was lying through his teeth. All head shakers.
It is a designed roll out when you have 2 WRs rolling to the same corner.

That play was designed...how can anyone argue that? Every single time Rivers rolls out, people jump up and try to defend the call saying "that wasn't designed, Rivers just left early"

Look at the play, watch the moving pieces...it was a designed call

Once again perry, he is being paid amongst the best of the best. He is in the top 5 for QB contracts...shouldn't we expect him to play as such?

And just a short time ago, people were trying to compare Rivers to the elite QBs...shouldn't our expectations be high?

How about this perry....could you imagine Aaron Rodgers, Eli Manning, or Brees falling into the same trap Rivers has in year 9? Or are those names too good of QBs to compare Rivers to as well?

That play should have been done with Ronnie Brown at QB. At least Norv did not call the Rivers Roll Out and Sneak into the Endzone play.

You may have a point there BB4L, but who would you like to replace Rivers with?

Brett Farve is busy last I heard...there really isn't any Tom Brady's hanging around by the phone waiting for AJ to call them up.

It's a valid question...who do we replace him with? I can't think of anyone. If you want to draft someone from college and expect them to be #1 on the depth chart next year.... that would put us behind the 8-ball another 2-3 seasons at best.

Bree's did with his 22 pick season as did Peyton with his 18 pick season in2010 as Eli did his whole career prior to 2 years ago
