Default Jeremiah Mock 3.0: Derwin James falls to the Bolts

Hard to believe James would last all the way to #17, but I've seen stranger things happen in the draft:

Jeremiah: "This would be a dream pick for the Chargers. James is a top-10 talent in this draft and a perfect scheme fit."

Shtuff like that always happens, and James would be a great pick. Could probably start right away too. I remember Keenan Allen being in everyones 1st round mocks, but prospects slid (then rumors swirl) ... He's gold to us now...

James is a premier talent that could play any DB position. He would be a great piece in our scheme.

As I type here, there is no chance in Hades that James is there at 17.

My top of the draft cluster would be, in order of preference:

James, B. Chubb, Edmunds, Barkley, Nelson

I hope for James, but it isn't very likely.....

Who was the better prospect. Hooker (drafted #15) or James?

Kamara in the 3rd was a big *** slide last year.

I remember years back no one had Ingram sliding all the way to 18.

it's possible, especially if teams start reaching on players

2 very different prospects, but both game changers.

An elite level ball hawk prospect
A Jack of all trades, possible master of everything Lebron James type prospect

I see James as more of a SS... Rodney Harrison 2.0+...

But I am not getting my hopes up. 17 seems about 7 selections too far down... but you never know.
