Yes. Anything to make the Patriots less and us more competitive. Did he make the Pro Bowl? Lynn and his Pro Bowl core can sell him on coming to the Chargers.

Focus on beating the Chiefs/Pats
Sign a big free agent if he can help you greatly there.

To beat the Chiefs/Pats, they need in this order:

1. Guard
2. healthy middle linebacker who can cover
3. more speed in the defensive backfield
4. a disruptive defensive tackle

Here's the burn your bridges options

A. Gerald McCoy is tempting because he's a quality locker room guy who will give them a 3rd pass rusher.
B. CJ Mosley is tempting: he's exactly who they need.
C. Jalen Ramsey (via trade) is interesting, but he's a bit of a loose cannon - can he cover T. Hill - probably not! Still on rookie contract next two years.

Mosley is not great in pass coverage and has trouble with zone defense. If you can disguise his limitations he might be worth a shot.
