It's a glorified top of the next round slot. That's all it is. Virtually you can kiss the first round goodbye. You ain't shooting for HOF in this slot, anywhere. Hell, your trash bottom of the first can bust and its ok.

We are deep in the hole every round. You had better wake up and smell the free agency my Bolt Brothers. The Emperor has spoken. Playing for Now.
Ryan Ramczyk, Ahkello Witherspoon, Kareem Hunt, Chris Jones, Tevin Coleman, Morgan Moses, Travis Frederick, Tyrann Mathieu, Terron Armstead, Harrison Smith, Bobby Wagner, Muhammad Wilkerson, Justin Houston.... those are just my picks, as there are plenty others.

team Tommy John is gonna have to sharpen their proverbial pencils and bolt up, as will give them credit for not whiffing on the Joey Bosa pick, albeit they are going to have to go beyond AJ, who did well when he had a stable of high picks, albeit fell off some when he had to pick near the bottom of the barrell.

as far as FAs.... think we have to stay the course w/the Coupon Deity and stay frugal.... there are some players out there.... Shelton, Tevin Coleman, Eric Reid, Quinton Spain.... stay hungry and off the FA fat.

What do you mean he was a healthy scratch? He doesn't play a ton of snaps but he plays in line with other NTs in the league, and he was PFF's 34th best Defensive Interior player this year... our best was Philon who was 75th best.

Truthfully I would love to go big here and get a premier NT/DT, but that would be very expensive so I think someone like Shelton makes a lot of sense for us... he wont be $15m/yr, but I don't think he will be $3m/yr either. He is definitely better than Liuget who was $10m/yr a few years ago (though you will get more snaps out of Liuget).

Shelton is a young, quality run defender who isn't totally out of his element in pass rush either as he scored better than 7 of our 8 DI's in pass rush this year.
didn't real eyes that, and.... if I read correctly he was a "healthy scratch," ala Forrest Lamp, in NEs last three games.... i.e. he didn't play even tho he was healthy.

and would like him, albeit Suh is projected to receive less than $10m/year.... would prefer Shelton but at a lot less.

he was a healthy scratch vs. the Chargers as well,

ps. when you hold NE to under 100 rushing yards they fare much worse than as they did against us,

would like to see what your draft looked like if you went strictly by BPA/your fave player for the Chargers each round, rather than being so bothered by the overall positional representation/coverage on the whole.... ?? #bringbacktheDR.

.trust the process/let the draft come to you,

I like what you're doing here, Woody.

I've mentioned liking Mack and Savage. I'm not sure that Savage will be there in the 4th... Mack will be a 3-down MIKE and is very good in coverage.

I would probably flip WR and OT. Only because I'm looking for a good pass-blocking RT that could take over for Okung in a year or two. I think we could find a good WR in round 3 also.

Russell is a good pick because he can play 1 or 3-tech.

Markus Jones was a guy that wasn't on my radar... nice find.

Nominated.

I have never seen that before. I never want to see it again, but I have never seen that before. With my real eyes or not.
