I think I'm turning into a Sam Darnold fan since watching him play in the Rose Bowl last year. Amazing performance against Stanford last night winning convincingly 42-24. Sam had a poor start 1st game of the season, but is on track with the high expectations for a Heisman trophy.

He again continues to throw dimes for touchdowns in the late quarter of games, quick feet and has the uncanny accuracy to throw on the run.

Josh Rosen continues to play well on the same weekend along with Lamar Jackson. Something magical though about Darnold's game, can't pinpoint it.

Some guys are just freaks in the 4th quarter. When the game is on the line, they raise their game. Elway comes to mind here. Supposed to be a good QB class this year. Its good for the NFL.

Judging by the play in games yesterday, the NFL could use a few good years of quality OL players.....

baker mayfield playing as good as ever without dede westbrook, his two beasts of RBs, and finished off Ohio St with only 1 incompletion the entire 2nd half and thats while losing his deep threat TE.

6'1'' isn't great but it's not a deal breaker either.

just saying, 3rd rounder in this draft maybe

i really don't know!
i've seen as low as 6!
between his character red flags, his short stature and a deep qb class, i'd he's a first round talent but a 2ns round prospect myself.
i just think he definitely needs to be part of the conversation.

he looks like one of those great college qb who might have a lot of difficulty translating to the nfl, so i wouldn't be surprised to see him go anywhere frankly.

With the Texas vs. USC game coming up this weekend, Darren Smith interviewed Sam Darnold. Check it out.

First hope is that we aren't in position to draft anywhere near the top 10, but if we are I hope the hype on Lamar Jackson grows through the roof. That said, Id like to see us make a move on Darnold.

He keeps playing well on the year and he is going 1st round.
