Default ESPN surveys players about the league's QBs

A new article on ESPN's website describes the results of a survey of 155 NFL players who were asked various QB-related questions. Here's some of the interesting highlights:

http://www.espn.com/blog/nflnation/p...super-bowl-win

Who talks the most trash?
-------------------------------------------------------
Cam Newton --- 26% of the vote
Philip Rivers ---- 24%
Aaron Rodgers - 17%
Tom Brady ----- 16%

I thought this one was pretty funny given all the comments I've seen over the years about people hating Rivers' passionate demeanor while holding up Brady or Rodgers as the paragons of cool, detached focus on the field.

Who would you least want as a teammate?
-------------------------------------------------------
Jay Cutler --- 42%
Cam Newton - 6%
Philip Rivers -- 6%

This one was funny, and pretty self-explanitory.

Newton and Rivers aren't surprising since they are seen as the biggest trash-talkers and so likely get under the skin of opposing players. But Cutler, wow! It wasn't even close.

Most overrated?
-------------------------------------------------------
Eli Manning -- 14%
Andrew Luck - 11%
Joe Flacco ---- 10%
Jay Cutler ----- 7%
Sam Bradford - 7%

Another funny one.

Manning's inclusion here is obvious, and I totally agree on Luck. I've never seen what the media fascination is with a guy who's put up some pretty pedestrian numbers in his career (when he hasn't been hurt that is). Cutler is another no-brainer. But Bradford? Don't you have to be "rated" before you can be "overrated"?

it's tough to put Eli higher in the overrated category than cutler and bradford. Eli's two rings came from him being uber clutch during their PO runs and the SB...although one of them was a miraculous helmet catch. As an athlete he's not overrated but as pure QBing goes imo newton is overrated.

I know a guy who grew up with AR. Said he has a bad rep as a jerk. Very reserved around people he doesn't know and comes off as arrogant. Said he's very nice.

I believe it. The media will make an enemy of you if you don't give them good material or act like bff's.
