Bolt Chargers @ Seattle 11/4 Roll Call

Didn't see anything on this if I am wrong please merge

7 Months ago I planned my one yearly Charger Away game and I picked the Seattle game. Now I am really happy I did. Sitting at 5-2 the game is actually more of a bonus game than a have to win game which is more typical for the Bolts in November. I have been researching Seattle for Months and even got registered under Seahawks.org forum to ask them what they thought were good things to do while in Seattle.

Hotel: Seattle Waterfront Marriott
1.3 Miles from the Stadium
2 blocks from Pike Market
10 Min walk to Ferry
Not far from Space Needle

This will be my 23rd away team I have seen watching the Bolts. After this just 11 to go! Been doing this with my friend for a long time. We head out of New York on Friday and get back on Monday.

Things on the Agenda

Casino:
We are a 10 min walk to the ferry that will take you to a casino. I will get my Black Jack and Poker fix either on Friday or Saturday

Pike Place:
Just a 5 min walk or less. Lots of great places in there to visit to grab a meal, some beer, etc

Space Needle:
Could almost skip this but when in Rome

Pioneer Square:
Great place and there is an underground tour that is supposed to be great

We got really good seats under face value in club section, Section 210 (about 35-40 yard line). I heard the bathroom lines and the lines to get into stadium are dreadful so I went with Club so I could get in via VIP access, no bathroom lines, and I can watch the early games in the club area before the game. Can even order food/drinks from your phone and delivered to your seat. I figured to that I only go to one game a year so why not spend a little more. It also keeps you away from the people that like to throw punches

Anyone else going? Any plans for meet ups???

Goooooooo Bolts!!!!!!!

Default Seattle

I picked this game too. I have family there and taking train to stadium. Iíve found great tailgates on this forum in past years at away games in Buffalo, Cleveland and Dallas but now itís as if everything is on Facebook. I did see one post on FB for a tailgate in the lot immediately to the east of stadium.

I know Iím about 1.3 miles from stadium at the waterfront. Is there a train to the stadium from that area? Or would walking or taking a uber be better?

Thanks

Before I became a Charger fan I lived in Seattle pre-Starbucks pre-Bill Gates which was a long time ago. Followed the Seahawks and enjoyed watching Steve Largent and Jim Zorn play. I was more of a Seattle Super Sonic fan than Seahawk fan at the time. Loved watching Gus Williams and Down town Freddy Brown play.

I returned to Seattle back in 2002. I stayed downtown too and was amazed at how the city has grown and transformed itself into a cosmopolitan city.

Starbucks...blew me away that they close promptly at 5pm. No night hours for them.

Do check out the underground tour of the city. It's a great way to learn about the history of Seattle.

The ferry is always fun to take to relax and be one with nature. If my family stayed in Seattle I would of been a life long Seahawk fan. Great city to visit though...fans are very loyal in the great Northwest. Hopefully the Bolts take on the 11th man and steal a win in two weeks.

Where are the bolts fans that are going?? At 5-2 and the game being on the west coast I thought this would be a great game for everyone to get on a South West flight and represent!!!

I will be there. I attend every charger game up here.

I moved up here in 2001. I was hoping to be able to see them once a year. then the merge happened. I get 2 games every 8 years now

We have a good chance in this game even though Seattle is one of the toughest places to win at. This is the Civil War game in my house.

See you all there!
