The Broncos are trying to get Kap but don't want to pay his guaranteed money. I'm enjoying this.

Apparently the Raiders are bringing in Safety Reggie Nelson who was a pro bowler and had 8 picks last year. He was rated #22 on the NFL.com list of top 100 FA's this season.

ALSO - Raiders have signed Aldon Smith to a 2 year deal.

Yup saw that also... Unfortunately.

The silver lining (no pun intended) is that they're going to be in a ****ty cap position when Carr is off his rookie contract. That and we almost beat them last year with a bunch of backups, that included a WR playing Safety.

Sounds like what Raiders fans used to say when they played the Chargers!

Raiders are young. Carr is only going to get better.

That would be a need imo. If he doesn't the raiders will struggle. I think the jury is still out, though I think the upside is in his favor.

Where the raiders will be tough in on D. That is a good start.

The best Offense is a good Defense.

Raiders have definitely improved over the last few years. Carr is a quality QB, and you're right he's only going to get better. That said I think he's being overhyped right now.

He had a good season, but was unspectacular in our division in 5/6 games.

Long run I think he'll be very good though. Raiders and Charger will have improved this offseason, Cheifs are a wash, and the Broncos are worse. It will be an interesting AFCW battle.

They still need to get solid play from the defensive backs as a unit. Still some missing pieces.

Mario Edwards is a sleeper, if he's healthy he makes the defense so much better.

And I agree on Carr. He has to elevate his game, but he's been solid so far. Now it needs to translate into wins on a consistent basis.

The raiders are finally on an uphill swing, I'm sure you agree that is a good thing. Not that I wish for that or anything.

The Bolts are IMO at the bottom of the pendulum swing. After last year, one could argue headed the wrong way. I think we'll see the swing go the other way. In fact, in a bigger way than most expect. Not that you wish for that or anything.
