Chiefs trade Marcus Peters to the Rams, per Adam Schefter. No details one what the Chiefs are getting back just yet.

Edit: Chiefs will be receiving draft picks, but no info on which round or how many.

Woah. Chiefs will be a different team next year without Smith led offense and Peters passion on defense.

Reid has let go of stars in their prime before e.g. T. Owens. Peters is no different. If they can keep him contained look out for the Rams next season. Aaron Donald, Marcus Peters with Phillips coaching that side of the ball the Rams are primed for a Super Bowl run.

So what you're saying is there's going to be a Rams-Chargers Super Bowl.

Ah Chargers lol just hoping they can contend first. Meaning beat the good teams in meaningful games. Baby steps.

Rams though the unexpected impact McVay made in his first year as HC, Goff's development at QB, Gurley's bounce back year coupled with Donald's pressure and now Peter's capabilities with what 20 plus interceptions to date you can say yes they can win it all. Can they respond to these expectations? Raiders folded this past season. Will see.

I think these two trades signal the Chiefs have decided to rebuild and put more youth out there.

I admire the Chiefs using trades to cut salary and to rebuild via the draft. The Bolts would just cut their vets and get nothing for them.

Peters is youth. It looks like they traded him because of his antics not his play. It's definitely not a youth movement
