It was Rivers best game of the year.

27/33 81.8% Completion rate. 434yds 3 TDs 0Ints.

And there were very few deep throws and I didn't see any up for grabs throws into coverage.

He was hitting the higher percentage intermediate and short throws over and over again.
Only 33 attempts to get 434yds. Half of the Yards were YAC.

Allen - 68YAC
Henry - 58YAC
Tyrell - 29YAC
Gordon -25YAC
Ekeler - 23YAC
Benjamin - 15YAC

The Dallas game is how Lynn wants to play.
33passes - Mostly short to middle throws with YAC.
28runs - To keep the commitment to the run.
9/14 3rd down conversion.
Zero Turnovers.
Strong Defense.
*I am sure he wants quality play from Special Teams.
But Kicker & Punt Returner are in need of upgrades. And there isn't anything on the current roster to do aside from putting Keenan Allen in at Punt Returner. He isn't the speedster Benjamin is, but he probably will do a better job fielding the punt and he has some moves to cut and get the ball going north and south. Benjamin tends to do a lot of east and west.

Impressive stats indeed. It's what we hoped for with Rivers being the most talented quarterback in our division with the most experience. His ability to check in and out a play to a better one was spot on as well. And he didn't have any delay of game penalties! Hope he keeps it up.

Credit Whis for adding wrinkles to plays to keep defenses off balance. Moving Keenan the same way they move Julio Jones has been key. Keenan has been in the slot, out wide and even in motion (one time to run) has been huge in getting him open especially on linebackers in the middle of the field.

Also, moving Eckler out wide worked well for a 40 yard gain. They are mixing the underneath routes, with nice long crossing routes (Henry/ Benjamin) for depth. Cowboys defense we're exhausted and from commentators view looked like they broke their will. Again, a superb game for the Bolts

Yup. For some of the disappointing picks made in the draft, TT and staff have found some nice underrated gems through undrafted free agents like Eckler.

I don't think out OL has improved from the 4-12 or 5-11 teams.

Okung is a little better than Dunlap. But Slausson @center was better than Pulley. Feeney a little better than Franklin. But Slausson@LG was not good. Wiggins vs. Fluker...? About a wash. Barksdale has remained constantly poor as a run-blocker (had one decent year at RT passblocking).

OL matters. Can't expect miracles from your QB, WR, or RB without a change. Both OT's get older with each year. Both OT's contracts are bloated in regards to production. Pulley is depth, and Wiggins contract is up at end of season.

Fortifications at center and tackle needed ASAP.
