It's getting real around here.

CMB drafts in two days.
NFL drafts in one month.

Pray Bosa and MI get to the QB in hurry.

Not uncommon to have a run stuffing LB with coverage limitations. He would be a difference maker for us defending the run.

You do raise a solid point on the the Michael Bennett situation, but I disagree on the correlation with military taking a knee for fallen soldiers as I've never seen them doing this during the National Anthem albeit Taps.

I wish to see the guy play, but hopefully he can compromise his personal feelings/social commentary and address that on his own time.

Does anyone REALLY doubt that Roquan is unable to excel in pass coverage ?

He can learn to recognize frequently used NFL routes.

C'mon look at Denzel.

Scrutinize our population at LB.
Think of the different packages we employ.
Consider our potential hybrids.
Then zero in on a couple of LBs that would round out our LB population.

But then the other guy got hurt so Reid went back to the safety position. He does have coverage skills in man to man, short ranged areas but that doesn’t mean he’d be a good fit at FS in a single scheme.

If anything he translates more to an Addae/Adrian Phillips role with us. Makes no sense to spend more cash there when we’d still be without a starting FS.
I think Adrian Colbert is his name. You're right about both Jaquiski Tart and Colbert outplaying Reid.

I didn't know that much about Reid, but I do know he's played well for the 49ers.

I'm good with Boston and Addae going in. I had a feeling Boston was going to get better with another team and that was with the Chargers. All this team needs is a quality safety from the draft to back these guys up and learn from them.

Speaking on Addae, he's definitely earned his role. The guy plays his heart out.

I wanted him this season when he was released by SF and Perryman was hurt.

Reid is now all of a sudden having a change of heart. I like that. It shows he can be a man about having to admit this whole thing does have a negative affect of things in general from his career, to business, to overall morale.

He said he would not do that anymore and find another way to speak out on this which I totally agree. If he can use his time off the field to be a vocal person against police brutality, i'm behind him 100%.

His brother also said that he's not like his brother, he's the quiet type and doesn't like drama. I like that. Justin Reid. I'm going to watch out for that kid.
