Default Chargers are 9.5 point underdogs

Suprused by this considering the scores of the last 2 games being touchdown wins. If I was A betting man, ill take SD and the points considering our win earlier this season in Denver, history vs Manning in the playoffs and our teams health. I'm not seeing this game being won by much either way, must be the blind love of Manning. This is also great for us, no pressure plus confidence knowing we can win in Denver should bode well Sunday

It's ok; as we all know, we play better as underdogs.

I never bet when it comes to the Chargers (jinx scares and all) but if I did, I would take these points and run. All season, we've only lost one game by more than a single score, and we're playing our best football right now!

Hope they do nothing but underestimate us all the way to the end... Fuels the team and if the other team is in the least bit cocky and unprepared we'll simply run them over in our quiet, workman like way.

They have to make it that big in order to encourage some betting on the Chargers.

The "Experts" think Wes Welker will single hand beating the Chargers and that was "why" the Donks lost their last meeting with him out...LOL

Bring on the underdog status...McCoy knows how to get this team rolling!

We were 10 last night!! On ESPN they are calling us the Team of Destiny. I really see it as a possibility. Their offense is better than Cincy, but their D isn't. Von Miller is out. We'll need to show up and most likely not play as conservative this time. It was almost like we were a soccer team playing for a tie.

This - people need to remember that the lines are not set to predict the final outcome of a game, but instead to ensure that the casino/bookie has an equal amount of money wagered on both sides of the line.

That said, I am still surprised that the line is at 9.5 given that we lost to them by 8 (chargers would cover the line) and won by 7 (obviously Chargers would cover). Tempted to put down a bit of money on SD to cover here, but I'm not really a betting man.

Gone down a bit from yesterday.

I think that 3 points are automatically spotted to the home team so keep that in mind.
