They're creating a mess for themselves down the line, and we're still cleaning up from AJ's mess. Two different scenarios.

There's no point in complaining or thinking Denver's somehow cheating the system - they're not. They're being clever and shortsighted, nothing more.

The only thing that shocks me is that people can't take the time to look at the salary cap of a team. If you saw what they were paying everyone, you would realize why they have cap space.

Thing is, I honestly believe SD has the capability to do more damage with less.

I'm not a believer in McCoy but he had your offense really clicking last year. I'll wait til the end of this season to hold complete judgement.. But he could mean a lot of great things for SD offensively.

Yeah that's true. Gaither and Meachem aren't though. Regardless- It was just an example used to explain that Denver doesn't have dead weight on their payroll like we do. Hence that lack of moves made by TT. You are right about Cox, my mistake.

I totally get how Denver does it, however, I'm still uncertain how Saints pulled of the Byrd heist and signed a new contract with Pierre Thomas after.

It's just basic accounting and contracting. Pay more now or more later. Make them earn it or gift it. Just a bunch of papers and numbers to juggle. Let the Broncos go all in. They are still going to give us a chance to beat them which will make our victories even sweeter!

The problem is, they are buying guys that are not impact guys. When both are healthy, Freeney > Ware. At a much cheaper cost. FACT!
