Carroll has a way of talking people into playing other positions. Who knows, but I thought his departure from Oakland was a blessing for him. If no team had picked him up and I were him I think I would have gone to Canada to play for a couple of years on a team with a good QB guy that he's never really had.

I think that's a big score for Seattle to get Pryor to be the back up QB for a mobile QB. The offense won't have to be radically different if Wilson goes down for a while since Pryor's so mobile, too.

I'd never assume Seattle would make a move for him.
But good luck to him. Lol.

Good move for both sides I guess... isn't much room for him on the Raiders and he isn't going to fit the system designed for their starter. Get an extra chance to draft someone to compete in camp.

Seahawks get a backup QB with mobility, so they don't have to switch things up to much if they have to go from starter to backup.

Supposedly Tarvaris Jackson is the "guaranteed" starter based on contract, but anything can happen in camp... IMO Pryor has more upside to Jackson... Which is prob why Seattle brought him in?? We'll see, should be a fun battle to watch, especially when they play us in the preseason.

Back to topic, if I am Pryor right now, I would start study Hawks playbook like 8hrs a day...With that defense and that type of offense, QB like him can only flourish unless he decided to be a backup...

I don't think there is much of a choice. I highly doubt the Seahawks are interested in a QB changer right after winning the Super Bowl... when there starter is on a cheap rookie deal that he can't even renegotiate yet.

No way Pryor ever becomes starter.... Tavaris Jackson is a better Back up than Pryor
The only way Pryor succeeds is if he changes position.

IMO the only thing Jackson has going for him is he knows the playbook and offense.
