The important stat isn't his stats against the Chargers. It's Peyton's outdoor QB rating. His rating in good weather is only about 88. In bad weather its down to as low as 83.

Peyton was stupid. His only real chance for a comeback was in AZ so he would play at least 9 games a year in a dome. His lifetime rating in a dome is 98.

Bronco fans will come down to reality by Thanksgiving. Outdoors Peyton isn't the best QB in the division...now add in bad weather and he might be the worst QB in the division.

i wouldnt look too far into indoor outdoor bad weather good weather games. I would assume all QBs play worse in bad weather. Since all of mannings home games were indoors one can assume he will do better in those games anyway because of home field advantage.

Im not predicting anything with manning since I think theres a huge risk factor since he took a year off and his age but if you look at his last few years he has done just fine statistically outdoors and in cold weather (the few games he has actually played in cold weather). Not to mention a 100.6 passer rating in Denver for his career.

Passer Rating
2010
Home 85.4
Road 98.0

Outdoors 99.8
Indoors 84.9

Cold weather 105.3

2009
Home 89.9
Road 112.6

Outdoor 100.3
indoor 99.2

cold 65.5 14-18 95 yards 1 INT meaningless game.

2008
Home 106.6
Road 85

outdoor 92.8
indoor 99.2

cold 97.0

2007
home 107.9
road 89.9

outdoor 83.9
indoor 108.7

cold 157.5 13-17 249 yards 4 TDs

That doesn't make sense, you have him winning 5 and losing 4, so he is 5-4 or 4-5? Then where are the games since he joined Denver?

The 2008 playoff game should be a L. He was 4-5 at the time of that post.

He beat us twice last year, and once this year. Lost once this year.

Record right now is 7-6.

In the OP's defense, he did mention that he was 0-3 vs. us in the playoffs. He gave him credit for the loss, just didnt list the stats from the 2008 game.

This is a rivalry and its well noted by both sides. In an interview prior to the last time we beat them, Rivers made a lot of comments about how he didn't think it was about "him or the Chargers vs. Manning". Manning made similar comments, but the thing is, they weren't even really asked directly. They just spatted off about how "the past stats didn't matter" and they "needed to focus", blah, blah. Its obvious they know that Rivers has owned Manning. Add to that the fact that its a division rivalry and you have the recipe for an epic playoff game.

I'm excited. Not only for the rest of this season, but for the future seasons as well. The AFC West is becoming competitive and it really does make for better a football experience.

He's 0-2 against us in the PO not 0-3. This thread was full of mistakes.
Of course after next Sunday the OP may turn out to be right.

He only has 2/13 games with 0 INTs vs Chargers. He only has 4/13 games with more than 2 TDs.
