I didn't know that Philip left with a hand injury.

We've given up draft picks to move up to get Attacho and Teo....always hurt, not looking like wise moves now. Big contract for Donald 'don't call me Gaither' Butler...been a disaster. Freeney is ok when he only has to play 6 snaps a game, otherwise he looks like he's 87 years old. Verrett seems talented...and always hurt too. Kendall Reyes...you might just as well buy an orange pylon and put it in his place for all he does.

Not all his fault, but he has a lot to answer for too now. He probably has one more season to show he can turn things around, but right now...not looking good. You can only dumpster dive so much...

Fluker has been slowed by a bad ankle. He already struggled with a good ankle on pass protection and now the ankle is also effecting his run blocking

Yup because adding bad salaries (Cox, Freeney, & Butler) to a team back to back seasons really out weights the descent signings he made.

At least he cut losses with cox. Easy to play the hindsight card with butler, where were all the "do not sign butler" threads last year? Freeney is fine this season. Problem is he wasn't supposed to be the every down guy this year. We could be worse off.

Yes no one was against the butler signing but handing him 12m guaranteed was a huge gamble on a player that hasn't even proven himself yet. He'll be on our books for the next 2 seasons eating up 4m a season even if he's not on the team.

He'll be there. While I think he's taken a step back I dont think ILB will be as big a priority as oline and dline, imo.
