The starting talent is average, and the depth is not very good......have a few injuries, and you have guys playing big minutes that have no business playing any minutes. Of course all of that is compounded by McCoy's poor leadership, making the Bolts one big rudderless ship floating in the ocean.

Average as a whole. I think PR, Wood, & KA are a few if the ones that are clearly above that. But taken as a whole, your post is acturate

I think we should hire a coordinator from one of the successful NFL teams.

The Vikings have been playing pretty well this year. Who is their OC? We should hire him.

This is it. What I will say is, good coaches this year alone, are proving that they can game plan and mask their team's deficiencies. Vikings and the Pats being prime examples.

We get injuries, the team uses them as an excuse, like we're the only team in the league suffering with them and McCoy gets out-coached again for another loss.

We're not going to find a great HC at this time of year. Which makes the decision not to fire McCoy at the end of last season, even more ridiculous. But he has to go regardless. The team is going backwards under him and he isn't a leader of men and the team certainly aren't running through walls for him.

As frozendisc says, we are just rudderless and drifting around not doing anything.

That is the problem...KA is ALWAYS hurt, Wood is always hurt, as is Gates, and the list goes on and on...Then we have "depth players" starting...making us an overall below average team.

We draft hurt players for goodness sake??? We knew Tuerk was injured and would not be a factor this year in a huge position of need and we took him anyway.

That is why the talent and depth on this team stinks...

And I see all these calls for Whis to take over? Did anyone see the two dumpster fires he was in charge of in Arizona (minus one REALLY good year) and Tenn?

The team needs to be completely overhauled. Figure out which players are "gamers" and worthy of keeping and start the fire sale!

Fire the coaching staff, fire the ENTIRE front office, and completely rebuild...or we will just get more of the same.

I think the prime examples would be Indy and NO when they played us.....

Both were teams playing really bad, but playing the Bolts was their saving grace. MM is just terrible at making adjustments.....
