Default Second Round Draft Choices

Since the Chargers have the sixth pick in the 2nd round, name your top six players (in order of importance) of who they should draft, if available:

1.) Malik McDowell, DL, Michigan State
2.) Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama
3.) Forrest Lamp, OT/OG, Western Kentucky
4.) Budda Baker, S, Washington
5.) Obi Melifonwu, S, Connecticut
6.) Kevin King, CB, Washington

**DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame wouldn't be a bad option either

Sounds about right to me.

I just hope kizer is gone before we pick so TT isn't tempted.

With the inconsistency of run and pass blocking last year, I think we really should fortify the offensive line.

Forrest Lamp projects to be similar to all pro Zack Martin for the Cowboys. Pick him at #2...versatile, athletic and physical, he can play tackle or guard. I liked his work out at the combine...sammy small school playa hits it big in LA.

1. Forrest Lamp
2. Budda Baker
3. Malik McDowell
4. Deshone Kizer
5. Marcus Williams

Maybe safety with Williams, Baker, or Melifonwu?

I think GB takes Lamp to replace Lang. Cam could immediately fill the weakest link of RT or either guard spot and will have additional depth if Tuerk is ready and the rest of the line stays healthy for once. But think Seattle may take him. Dawkins is a nice consolation prize.

The future best DB on the board is not Budda Baker imo due to his size at 5'10 196. I"ll take Kevin King or Quincy Wilson. If there is a better corner should that player be picked instead? Or in a Gus defense is FS that important? Burning questions to be answered tomorrow.

What's the chances Marcus Williams makes it to round 3. Telesco said he wants to improve the pass rush.

I like Kevin King, but my guess is Budda Baker if not Cam Robinson. If Cam is not there, Budda Baker will be selected. I think they're comfortable with starting Lowery and Addae, but could get an upgrade in that position for sure.
