Lord of the Rings long, but not Return of the King long... with like 14 endings that dragged on to a new scene... you all remember how Return of the King did it.

Did you stay for Deathproof? I guess it's an acquired taste. Ever see Pink Flamingos, Vanishing Point, El Topo, Cannibal Holocaust, Mondo Cane, or Ilsa? I grew up on watching this stuff and so I liked what they did with Grindhouse. It's still not nearly as fun or cool as any of these films but it's still a good show. It's nothing like sin city or 300, completely different and 10x's better. Be ready to have a ball for three hours!

I've seen Vanishing Point myself, very interesting movie..... really heavy in symbalism..... but then again you don't see it for that..... you see it for Kowalski's 440 R/T Challenger elluding cops...... so I take it Grindhouse is heavy on automotive mayham, yes?

300 was anything but magical!!!. Historically inaccurate and incorrect, to start with. Quite frankly, the History Channel and its low arse budget did a far more superior job of that story telling, than the 300. One thing that I will give 300 credit for, is the brilliant adaptation of the comic book, from which it came from.

You can not even compare QT and RR directing minds to that of the meek crew behind 300.

I'm a HUGE fan of Tarantino and also think Robert Rodriguez does good stuff but after seeing the trailer for this flick or 'these' flicks I just couldnt find anything about it that interests me. I mean a girl with a gun for a leg???? If any other director was involved with this other than Tarantino they'd make fun of a concept like this. But when Tarantino is involved with it it's considered 'ground breaking'???

For those that enjoyed this movie please explain why this is supposed to be such a good movie. Is it really like Sin City??? Cuz for my tastes I couldnt get what was so great about Sin City and was bored to tears by it. However Kill Bill was a masterpiece IMO. This movie just doesnt look good at all and the fact that Tarantino and Rodriguez are both involved and doing a 'double feature' just makes it seem a little gimmicky above everything else.

Someone please hit us with an honest review.

I thought Planet Terror was better. Rodriguez showed himself to be more fearless than Tarantino.

Who goes to theater to view historically acurate movies? it's not for Socials class. Next you're gonna tell us that Shrek was inaccurate, and Star Wars was too far fetched.
