The mr and misses "self righteous" ones needs to realize that unless this team shows that they can shut down some offenses, i cant see how we go all the way and win it all. There is still plenty of time for the defense to get better, but what i;m sayin is that this is not a good launching pad to start from.

Trust me the frustration here is warranted. We ARE Superbowl contenders. We ARE an elite team. Unfortunately we AREN'T playing like it yet.

Who cares? we can whine, *****, complain as we want. You "positive people" should know that this is how the damn boards are every year. It is no different from last year and the year before.

Eightdogs is my favorite poster on the CMB hands down.

I also feel that ever since Troy Brown stripped McCree of that interception in the Playoffs in '06, that was our chance to take it to the house to bring it home but we let it slip away.

We need our boys to blow up the fins this weekend and start playing Charger Football!!

GO BOLTS!!!!
Put it this way, from memory, "On the first day of Christmas Gene Klein gave to me a Coryell Superbowl team... with Chuck Muncie running on a Coryell Superbowl team..."

I highly suspect that the vast majority of these folks that criticize those of us who openly express displeasure with certain aspects of the Chargers' game and organization are for the most part younger/more recent fans who haven't been with us through the long hall, which makes me all the more pissed that they dare question our devotion.

Let's see if they're still here 30 years from now if the Chargers still haven't ever won a Superbowl!

We've been waiting a long time, which makes us older folks know how crucial it is for this team to take full advantage of this unique window of opportunity.

So if somebody with a Chuck Muncie avatar wants to express some concerns about our current situation, I want to hear what he/she has to say.

It was a calculated gamble. It didn't work out. Get over it.

The Chargers played better than most on this message board thought they would when we learned that Hardwick, Williams, and LT wouldn't be playing.
They played a game that these seldom used backups can build on to make us even more deep, experienced, and game ready by the time we go into the playoffs. The offense , for the most part, looked great. Bennett needs to carry the ball more in the absence of LT. Sproles is his most dangerous on screens and draws. And returns.

The defense ramped up they're game in the second half with several players that don't see playing time in a regular season game. They kept the Chargers close enough to have a chance to win. They should be praised, not ridiculed.

It's very apparent that there are a lot of small minded, small pictured people posting on this message board that forget what being a fan is supposed to be about. The Chargers disn't embarass the city. They didn't stop fighting. They didn't stop competing. Praise them . Support them. Or don't post. The insane whining of malcontents just pisses me off. Mods. Please delete their threads. If they can't find something positive to say about the team, it's coaches, and it's players, then why are they even allowed to post? They obviously aren't Chargers fans.
The team played way beyond expectations considering the injuries on both sides of the ball.

The play calling not so much...

What; is the whiners vs. non-whiners debate over? That was short. Has one side or the other been officially declared the winner by the mods? Or maybe the whiner by the mods, or even the wiener by the mods. Or are the mods weaning us from dependence upon them as judges in these types of debates? Just seems awfully quiet here on the western front. I see some posts have been deleted.
