The only OT I take ahead of Vea is Williams.

I don’t think I pass on James at all.

in my eyes/estimation the downfall in our run game is not w/the LBs, but rather w/the interior of the line, specifically @NT, and.... don't mind Minkah so much, it's just that it would seem to be a shame if we don't fix up the interior of the D before worrying 'bout the window dressing/skill positions ??

Wow... So Vea in the 1st and Star in FA. That could possibly make this D ferocious. What are you thinking later in the draft? We need help at ILB and OT for sure. We also need a K and could use a C.

Interesting take. I am of the mind that if we land Star, then we spread the wealth a bit... but a Vea/Star interior would make it downright difficult to handle Bosa and Ingram off the edges.
yeah.... 'tis tempting to be content w/Star, albeit have read that he may have some (foot) injury concerns, hence one of the reasons that I would hedge my bet there w/Vitamin V.

my thought is that if Vea is a 3T then you let him play a year before replacing Corey, and as most rooks take a year to acclimate on the Dline, and in that am hoping for a SB push this year, would take the more proven commodity in Star to ensure that we get what we need out of the NT position, and....

going forward as the Carson Chargers, would have both Star and Vea in my starting lineup come '019.... 'til then, Vea would get plenty of snaps spelling the both of them and perhaps even some DE snaps ala Red Bryant.

and granted we could (always) use an OT, albeit don't see the value in the draft nor FA, and would instead swing for a backup tackle in FA as a Joe B. hedge.

@LB am ok w/Jatavis and Toomer, and even Emanuel, and.... my apologies for mentioning names, and.... Hayes Pullard is not a PFF ratings fave, and is the guy I'm looking to upgrade, and would hope for Hercules Mata'afa in the draft, as he is another guy that plays well w/the Carson Chargers.

there is a center/OG available for sure, 'specially if somehow Price and/or Wynn lasts 'til our pick round two, albeit am not wholly against taking a stab @Austin Corbett.... both him and Wynn have fared similarly to Forrest last year, in that Rob Rang had the both of 'em ('specially Wynn) languishing in UDFA land most all draft season, 'til public consensus/SB swayed him to pull them (way) up his board.... Corbett to day two, and Wynn to day one.

for kicker, do like Badgley some in the draft, and Cairo Santos in FA.... hopefully Aguayo was just going thru the motions and there is nothing to that signing, other than a public gesture, that we're at least (trying) to do something 'bout things back there ??
