Posts that said "Rivers made VJ good " has been destroyed to the point that the posters are hiding and shivering in fear. It was Hogwash, and now proven.

42 catches 863 yards 7 TD's

That is 20.5 yards per catch. Which LEADS THE NFL.
From Freeman mind you ....

I can't find Meachem and Royal's stats. But I only have a 17 inch monitor to look at the list. I might break the mouse wheel scrolling down that far.

Who made whom good ?

REACT !!!!!!!!!!!! FLAME ME !!!! TAR AND FEATHER ME !!!!! DO IT !! DO IT NOWWWWWWWWWWWWW !!!
The sad part is that with the oline we had this year it wouldn't have mattered much whether we had VJ or not!

Five games with five catches or less and five games with 5 or more catches with the most catches in a game being 7...averages 86 yds a game with a range of 29-216...closest to 29 is 40, and the closest to 216 is 128...take away the 216 game performance and he is around 72 yds per game...dude just broke top 10 for overall yards as he is 10th among those with reception yards...not all that impressive considering contract value??? (someone want to look up the yearly salary of the top ten recievers in yrds)...we held him to 59 yds on 5 catches with one catch resulting in a 31 yard gain...thats 7 yds avg over 4 catches...

In other words...ehhh...ain't sweatin' the loss

Is it still cool to be in the minority ? Cuz that's about the size of it here. I'm not just talking that we are 4-6, lost 5 of 6, or that our offense doesn't even resemble a shadow of itself. I'm talking about the other side. You know, Tampa Bay. They are freaking LOVING some VJ. Averaging a league leading 20.5 yards per catch suits them just fine and dandy.

I'd rather be giddy about good performers executing their sport versus macho coolism as we suck down the stream here.

Tampa Bay was 16th in passing last year without VJ...they are now 14th with him...

Are you still mad that VJ had five catches against us?

Let it go, Freak. Just let it go.

Wow dude. That is some SERIOUS cherrypicking there. Not sure I've seen a more impressive effort, to be honest.

I wonder if we take away the Chargers wins against the absolute worst team in the league, where that leaves them. Stat wise.

I don't think we'd be missing VJ this much if Norv had any clue how to use Royal or Meachem. See how Torrey Smith killed us on 3rd and short with those drag routes, that's how we should be using Meachem and Royal. I don't think either one has run a single drag route the entire season.

I think wed all have to tie Philip down and fight him to keep him from going out there and playing. - Norv Turner
