I honestly think the biggest mistake the Spanos Clan made in this move was to increase the ticket prices to such astronomical levels. They could have sold most of the seats at $100 a piece and many more families like my own could have attended.

1090, new home of the Rams. LOL!

1090 dug their own grave early during the move and now they are home to a team that has no ties with SD.

Really? Guess their running out of things to talk about. Does BR Smith still have a job? Be weird to provide analysis of a team you had no affiliation with. I'll have to tune in.

They could talk about the Chargers like the most successful radio show on 1360 does. Instead they dug a hole early in the move and can't recover. Darren Smith show has more Raiders interviews than Chargers. Anytime Smith is about to ask a Daniel Jeremiah a question about the Chargers he always prefaces it with, "I know the internet will get mad at me for asking a Chargers question, but..."

They dug their own grave here by letting their two main shows participants in Marty Caswell and Scott Kaplan completely trash the team. Now players are cut off from 1090, but not 1360.

Indirect consequences of the team leaving San Diego. Other personalities like Nick Hardwick trashed the team initially but got smart and rejoined the LA market to continue to be gainfully employed. Your right Marty and Scott pushed it too far for ratings for some time. Still in spite of their careers they loved the team and we're hurt when they left all the while gaining the empathy of a lot of loyal SD Charger fans who felt the same way. It is what it is.

Economically, well known sports bars and restaurants have shut down in Mission Valley. I have a friend who works in the sports bar/ restaurant business. Economically he along with others suffer a bit in the summer/fall when a professional NFL team leaves town. It will sting $$$ wise for some time unless we get a version of a Stan Kronke to throw some wealth around.
