Maybe, it's time to kick the tires on Nick Mangold and see what he has left. At least as a backup if he can't be a starter.
Nick Mangold? Hey, why not? At this point I'd be excited at the idea of getting Nick Hardwick back. Nick Novak might even be an improvement.

Tuerk and Burwell are out.
Tevi and Feeny are project.
Barksdale and Wiggins are just backups.
TT has no idea what his OL will look like on the 11th of september...

If this was the San Diego Chargers i'd be pissed off the awful way the season is starting for the chargers, but
since they aint San Diego Chargers, i can't help but laugh of the collapse from this team.

I guess I'm being relatively salty today, but with the Lamp situation and now the Tuerk news today, I'm feeling pretty frustrated. I've been complaining about the O-line situation on this team since 2010.

I used to complain how AJ rarely ever invested any significant resources in it at all, trying to scrape by with low round picks, UDFAs and vertern cast-offs. Now TT is trying, but keeps missing or having our ridiculous injury curse rear its ugly head.

It's frustrating, especially considering that Rivers is the kind of QB that can be deadly with a reasonable pocket, but absolutely needs a pocket to operate in. The one thing we need most for solid offensive success and we've had such a hard time finding it for years now.

Only CMB would first bag mercilessly on Max
Then declare it a tragedy when he get suspended
For trying to please you.

I get your point about the CMB being a source of negativity and ridicule, woody. But why defend the indefensible notion of 100% avoidable mental mistakes that hurt not only yourself but the team? This is not excusable and reflects poorly on the team management and ownership. If the Team would simply make it a known and written policy that any and all players who are ever caught using prohibited supplements are automatically cut 100% of the time, no Charger hopeful player would do this. I mean the more I think about the firing of Marty Schottenheimer, the more I realize that this ownership is nothing but a group of family descendants taking advantage of the real accomplishments of the Spanos immigrant!! I think it is too bad he is not able to participate a lot more due to advanced age and whatever other natural ailments he has.

No outrage needed. The guy never even played a down for us.
