Default Greg Maddux to retire

I just read that (my favorite pitcher) Greg Maddux is planning to retire this coming Monday at the MLB winter meetings in Las Vegas. He'll retire with 355 wins playing for the Cubs, Braves, Padres and Dodgers which puts him at #5 on the all-time wins list. *The Dodgers said they'd like him back for the 2009 season, but after 23 years in MLB he wants to spend more time with his family.

Thank's Greg, you're a first ballot Hall of Famer, guaranteed!

So will he go in Cooperstown as a Brave or Cub. I hope Glavine and Smoltz retire this year too and then all 3 could go in together though Smoltz is debateable.

one of the best ever because he did more with less (velocity) than any pitcher ever in my opinion

i'm guessing he goes into the HOF as a brave

I also think he'll go in as a Brave, because he got a World Series ring playing there.
