Some great games so far to start the playoffs... great skating and great entertainment.

Laine is such a special player...

Impressed with how Vegas has come out for their first two playoff games against LA...

Have the Pens awoken a nasty bear in the Flyers or do Crosby, Malkin and company turn it back on?

Laine has been my favorite player since watching him at the World's, before Winnipeg drafted him.

He is very dynamic.

I like goal scorers.

No contradiction, as I was speaking specifically to the assumed Pens/Flyers rivalry.....it is more media driven than anything else.

Getting chippy play almost always develops as a series goes on, as playing the same faces game after game creates retaliation moments. Being disciplined is important.

Great start to the greatest Ice Hockey tourny in the world......

Laine is special......the Jets have a very solid team.

The NHL assured us of the Knights success with the way the expansion draft was set up. We have talked many times about how the Knights would have looked if each team had been able to protect one more player, and concluded they would not be in the PO's.

The Pens biggest concern, going cold on scoring......hope it goes 7 games.

Quite a back and forth series from one game to the next. The Pens found their scoring touch.

Was it just me, but it seemed that the Flyers stopped doing some things that were very effective in game 2. In game 3, they gave up the blue line way too easily and got away from their 4 across structure.

I think the Flyers started G3 with the same approach, a 2-2-1. Once the Pens scored, they made a slight adjustment in their neutral zone defence 1-3-1 (which failed), and then the Pens scored again. At that point they were chasing the game, Pens got some bounces/goals and G3 was essentially over.

G4 will see a 1-2-2 is my guess. Won't matter if they don't get better goaltending.
