I'm a former season ticket holder and received a similar special offer email. Mine read "As a valued Los Angeles Chargers fan, ...".

I thought I had unsubscribed to all their propaganda. They must be desperate.

We haven't gotten that email. I want to bring my wife and dad to the opener but don't want to pay $180 each ticket. Maybe we can work something out?

Actually the article you linked in says might approach 1mm year. That said, the million gets both NFL teams, as well as all other events with a couple exceptions (Olympics/World Cup). It also allows for use of the suite during the week as a location for company meetings, conferences, etc. etc. I suspect that the LA area business community can handle the million a year cost easily, the part that might hold sales back will be term. A term of 2-4 years, and these sell out fast. A term of 15-20 years, and they sit unsold.....or so I view it.

that's what neither san Diego nor St. Louis could be counted on to handle in any significant way.

there are also lots of other suites $300k-$600k if that $1mm figure seems high.

Of course....the moves of both teams had very little to do with a new stadium, as Kronke could have built his stadium anywhere, these moves were much more about increased market value.

Kronke seems savvy enough to make LA profitable for him and his Rams.

Spanos seems much less likely to pull it off......

Winning would trump all issues, but neither team looks to win much.
