Too many other weaknesses to focus on. I'd like to roll the dice on a scat back king of guy in the 4th or 5th rd.

You have Isiah Pead in your mock draft?

The best Offense is a good Defense.

It's a mock from last year.

On a side note: anyone follow what happened with Pead this year? I expected big things from him.

Ball is a scrub. Matt Wilhelm status at RB.

Ditto. Overrated, overexposed, and overworked.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa. Whoa. Ball may not be the beast is in college, but he is no doubt late 3rd round at worst unless teams are worried about his tread. He can do it all, probably third best in that regard after Franklin and Taylor. I don't care if his line is great, he's a pretty dang good RB.

Mathews isn't the problem, it's the line.

Fix the line and Mathews will instantly improve.

I would take Bernard, Lacy, Ellington, Randle, Gillislee, or Taylor before Ball. I don't like the college workload and I don't like the UW running back pedigree. Early this season when the Badgers weren't dominating up front, Ball stuggled. To me he looks like a Shonne Greene, in that he will only get as many yards as the line provides, rarely creating opportunities for himself.
