I read somewhere earlier that there has been interest around the league... so now it’s just a question of how much.

I like TW and think he still has some upside but this draft is talented, deep, and PON / overall. I wouldn't be upset with another 2nd. Then trade back 5-8 spots to pick up another 3rd & 6th possibly. 5 picks in the top 100 sounds good to me.

I hope someone bites on TW and I Hope Our #TW pans out. But you can never tell with Chargers and WR.

I think the idea is to tender him a 2 but trade him for less
Because if a team was willing to part with a 2 for TW, they donít have to make an actual trade with us, if Iím understanding right.

I like TW and what he has done for us. Thought he dropped a few balls last year he shouldn't have but overall has been good for us. Id take a 2nd or 3rd in a heartbeat for him and dip back into the wr pool with antonio calloway who has even bigger upside in my opinion. He plays like an emmanuel sanders, great hands, routes, and speed, or we could bolster our dline/oline. MW is going to shine this year anyway and TW's playing time is going to plummet.

Correct. A 2nd is the high water mark bc they could just sign him and we would get their 2nd. Trade interest would represent a 3rd+ round selection (or player).

A team has to out bid LAC to sign him. If he receives an offer we have the right to match & keep him. If they're high bidder, we get the 2nd. If he doesn't receive a qualifying offer by Apr 20, all rights revert to LAC.
I don't believe we can trade a player that we do not have a contract with.
It gives Ty Will a chance to see what his market value is worth.

okay so if a team wants to make an offer, they have to already feel confident about giving up a 2 to us if we decide to not match right?
and yes, if we dont have a contract, we cant trade someone, that all makes sense.
