Savage was a starter for the Texans before Deshaun Watson took over, right?

I’ve brought up Paxton Lynch before
I want to pretend I’m not intrigued
Anyone have strong opinions one way or another
I imagine Wiz having one, also one way or another
And if it happened to be a good one, I’d be especially intrigued

So, ask yourself, is either Savage or Lynch better than Geno and Kordell? Answer: Maybe and maybe, but not looking good. Lynch has a career QBR of 76%, which is kind of in the Geno range. Savage was even worse at 72%.

If im Paxton Lynch and clear waivers I take vet minimum if I have to
For an opportunity to sit behind 17 and get a shot at resurrection
He needs tutoring if he ever plans on being anything more than a flop and he knows it

Another intriguing possibility is Mike White, QB with the Cowboys. White threw for 157 yards in the game vs. the Cards.

Mike White is on the Cowboys actually, and I'm not that high on him. His combine was horrible.

But he did play well in the Senior Bowl.

I would've liked him over Shimonek, though. (Not that high on Shimonek either, obviously.)

I went back to look at the replay Cowboys/cards to see White
Didn’t come away with anything spectacular either way
Except, his first incompletion was really off target

I don't think they'll be apt to bring in another "project" at QB. Geno knows the offense and any others would need time to learn the offense before they could be ready to step in. Anyway, what are the odds that the backup QB will play during the regular season?

I think they are more likely to look at help in the trenches. Better backups at OT and DT and LB.

It'll take some luck to find any upgrades in depth but TT usually finds one. No telling where but my guess would be TE.
