Thomas is likely to have a salary that would break the bank for the Bolts.

Oh, and welcome to the forum. I'm betting you ideas are better than some say your piece and have fun.

Great timing for a first post!
I think we can get creative to fit thomas under our cap
I’d be happy with this scenario

For most of the time leading up to the draft, I've been of the mindset that you need to invest in the tackle position. You don't want to leave your O-line vulnerable if one of your starters goes down for the season. If you have the opportunity to get a top 2 OT at 17, it might prove wise to grab one. If you pass, then I hope you don't need one next year and end up in a position where you get Flukered.

I was going to make the prediction that the Chargers pick at 17 would share a name with their last first round pick... Mike (McGlinchey) or (Connor) Williams. But I don't think McGlinchey will be there at 17. Williams at RT would really help with the run game, which coach is really big on, and Matt Miller ranks him as the best OT in the draft. But I just don't think this is the direction the bolts will go. Rumors are it will be D heavy.

Round 1 Big Board Cluster:
Edmunds, Fitzpatrick, James, Ward, Vea, Roquan, McGlinchey, Payne, Bryan, Williams, Vander, Evans

Round 2 Big Board Cluster:
Kolton, Hurst, Jefferson, Hughes, Hubbard, R.Harrison, Phillips, Jamarco, Reid, Crosby, Settle, Bates

Round 3 Big Board Cluster:
Shepherd, Baker, Kyzir, Watts, Turay, Thomas, Leonard, Green, O'Neill, Rankin, Noteboom, Brown

First and Last Official Mock:
------------------------------
17) DT - Da'Ron Payne
48) Safety - Justin Reid
84) EDGE - Chad Thomas
119) LB - Fred Warner (Local boy from SD)
155) CB - D.J. Reed
