Default Gronk suspended 1 game

NFL suspended Gronk for 1 game for his assault on the Bills db that resulted in a concussion. Seriously, this guy basically committed a crime. It wasn't trading punches like Talib and Crabtree. He jumped on top of a guy that was down from behind and punched his head.

Put him in the vacant Aaron Hernandez cell.

It was an intentional, vicious shot...

The closest comparison in my mind is the assault charges pressed for the NHL player a few years back, too lazy to look up.

I watched the play in real time.

Gronk says he was "frustrated", and apologized for his actions.

He should have been suspended for the rest of this season, at least.

I'm guessing he won't appeal.

It's pretty obvious that it's warranted in spite of his clean record.

To me, what Gronk did is much more egregious than 2 guys facing each other and deciding to fight.
