And the Patriots have put out a statement denying whatís said in the article and saying that they remain united as they have for the past 18 years. What a run

Edit: the statement is in here. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/2...gland-patriots

Krafty should have sided with BB/JimmyG IMHO.

I agree with you Emp, TB12 is the only one worthy (if that's a good word here) of extra consideration here.

However, there is one other GOAT in the conference room...
Just a great, great addition to the conversation. Well done.

Nominated.

We can all hate them together, but then you just have to tip your cap and move on.

I certainly hope TT can pull a solid draft and free agency together. It's about time and I certainly want Rivers to step up against the better teams in the league.

All great dynasties have a beginning, middle and end. Bill and Tom have had a heck of long tenure together. They've had success with no names and/or outstanding talent. It's time for the Chargers to put it all together and show their fans that they can be a dominant top team in the league.

Helping his assistants prepare for interviews for the first Time is another indication that heís ready to blow it up in NE and leave the cupboard bare. How nice it would be to see them lose their first playoff game and have the franchise blow up.

Patriots are more a product of Bellycheat than Brady. I've said that for years.

Brady ? IDK. He MIGHT have still been able to laser throws. But no arguing he's excelled in Bill's system.

I'd say at this point of his career. Hire as a consultant?

The next best thing his hiring from the family tree, son Stephen who is a current safeties coach with the Patriots or Brian Belichick, who is a scouting assistant. Chargers have hired Don Shula's son as an assistant coach in the past.

Maybe apple doesn't fall far from the tree and to be able to informally talk football with Bill through is family may be well worth the hire.

Quite Freaking True... Have always believed this as well.

Tom is a very good QB, but he is a system QB as you've mentioned. Plenty of other QB's would thrive in Bill's system.

If not for some of the worst offensive coordinating by opposing teams in the last 2 Patriot SB wins, no one here is talking about Brady as the potential GOAT. Belly is the brains behind the operation.
