Default Congrats to Padres Trevor Hoffman - Hall of Famer

The former Padres closer has been inducted into Baseball's Hall of Fame.
The guy was totally "lights out" and whose walk to the mound was precipitated each time by the playing of AC/DC's Hells Bells over the stadium speakers.

On local radio they wished Trevor good luck and talked about a memory of Tony Gwynn Jr visiting the club house to hang out with his father and teammates.

Trevor taught Tony Jr. how to hit his bread and butter pitch, his change up. Fast forward to when Tony Jr. becomes a pro. Padres are vying for a playoff spot needing this game to clinch. Tony Jr. comes up to bat and hits his change up for a game winning triple. Great play from Tony Jr. making both Trevor and his father smile on that clutch play.

You can bet Tony Jr. and Sr. will be there to support him on his day. Congrats Trevor!

Default Congratulations Trevor Hoffman on your Hall of Fame Induction

Trevor Hoffman got into the baseball Hall of Fame with 79.9% of the votes.

also inducted yesterday were Chipper Jones, Vladimir Guerrero, and Jim Thome. An outstanding class.

I'm already booking flights and a hotel for Cooperstown.
