Any possible way to strengthen a tendon?

No... You can strengthen the supporting muscles but that's it. People are kidding themselves if they think Woodhead has been skipping leg day.

That's what I thought too. Blaming the strength and conditioning staff for tendon injuries is like blaming the weatherman for the weather.

Agreed - the guy is a hard worker. You don't build a 200 lb physique at his height and body comp by skipping leg day lol.

As far as the injury, it seems that it was just a poor decision by Woodhead to try and stop his momentum and cut back around the time of impact with the defender in that situation. I'm sure he blames no one but himself for the injury.

He should learn from it and get stronger and more experienced when he comes back.

No more shotgun draws for 2 yards when the Chargers need to chew time off the clock? He'll be missed, his work ethic and all. I think the Chargers will do OK with the loss. Even tho his running stats were good, he was taking on more of a running role than in past years, where he excelled at catching passes out of the backfield. He was more effective as a wild card factor back then, IMO.

We are just unlucky. Brandon Marshall got his knee twisted up Thursday night in a way that looked worse than the Allen and Woodhead injuries combined. He was back playing in the game
