The dump in Oak or the dump in Vegas.

Nothing would surprise me with the raiders

The best Offense is a good Defense.

If I had to guess I'd say that there are more Chargers fans than Raiders fans in Vegas based on team swag I see on cars/trucks.

Hopefully we'll find out if they can sustain a constant fan stream or not. I just don't see it.

But that aint gonna happen. Davis is as cheap as they come and not only does Oakland not want to give them a penny to build a stadium, they also raised their lease by like 3x's.

I mean we thought that no long ago in SD with the Chargers. Who knows.

If the Raiders do move i hope its back to LA if anything. No more new cities. Especially Vegas. That cesspool of despair is bad enough without the Raiders being added.

Won't happen... The meeting is just smoke and mirrors on Davis' part. Kinda like Jon Gruden saying there is a "possibility" he would come back to coaching an NFL team again YEAR AFTER YEAR. I think they get something done in Oakland or move to LA.

Kroenke and Spanos don't want anyone else in the So Cal market and Jones and McNair don't want them in Texas either. Their options are limited.

They already have permission to move to LA if the Chargers get their stadium.

Kronke and Spanos can't do anything to stop them.

Default Raiders To Vegas?

Fox national news just reported that Davis wants to move the Raiders to Vegas. He has Sheldon Adelson and David Beckham on board with him according to the report.

Maybe Davis realizes the Chargers chances of staying in SD is slim?

Not sure if the NFL would go for a team in Vegas...

Edit: Hmmm, guess I should have checked the AFC West forum before making a thread in Around The NFL. Thanks for the merge...

Davis only went to Vegas because he got a coupon for a free room at Fitzgerald's if he attends a 1 hour presentation about Tahiti Village.

The organized crime roots of that city make it a great place for the raiders to land...

But I am not sure it will ever be a good idea to go into that city again... which stinks... there is fun to be had in Vegas. (that is when there is money that can be safely spend/lost.)
