Of course I could be wrong.

The roller coaster supposedly ended a month and two days ago. Manchester? I was thinking the world renowned soccer club in England. Rivers and all his children's prayers may be answered. Good golly stop the presses...is this for real?

Why would River's prayers be answered?

He's building it for the Raiders.

Good news , see what happens. At least the Chargers can't muck this one up.

So this guy suddenly came out of nowhere with a fully privately financed stadium proposal. After all the years the Chargers were trying to get more money, where was he and his wealthy investors. If he was so vitally interested and had/has the backers, where was he and his group.

If he completely privately funds a new San Diego stadium for the Raiders, or they get to be the beneficiaries of one, to understate it, I will be quite annoyed and upset. Especially since the Chargers were wanting one for 15 years, and no sooner had they left, he comes forward with this. Even a short time ago for this proposal would have likely kept the Chargers in San Diego.

Build a new stadium in San Diego, privately funded? Awesome, get it started. But keep the Raiders out of SD, and lure the Chargers back some years down the road, or land an expansion team.
